All this helps make Kumoji-So Hostel one of the most desired hostels to stay in when visiting Okinawa. Okinawa Weekly Magazine called it 'a travelers oasis'

It's a cheap hostel, but a few problems. If you are coming for a good night's rest, skip this place! The common room is right where all the rooms are - if you are lucky enough to have a room (I was sleeping in a hallway with a curtain wall). Anyone coming in or leaving, let alone talking will be sure to keep you up. A noise rule is set at 11, but that night it was not obeyed, and there was no one there to enforce it. Even some of the dorms aren't blocked off to the sound. Pass.
