About Kustleden Hostel
Kustleden in Stromsbruk, in the province of Halsingland, Sweden is a destination offering overnight accommodation and café, bicycle and canoe rentals, as well as a shop and a gallery. The hostel is located in the one-time office building and archives of the former Stromsbruk mill.
The historic building, initially constructed in 1912, is beautifully situated in a park setting with the southern of the two Holm Lakes and the Harmanger River only steps away.
Art, quality crafts, books and outdoor equipment are some products available for sale.
The atmosphere is relaxing and comfortable. It's hard to believe one is only minutes from the E4, some 20kms north of the beautiful summer city of Hudiksvall and less than 70kms south of the bustling city of Sundsvall.
The unique Halsingland coastline offers wonderful swimming, as well as exciting excursions on foot, by bike, canoe or by car.
Sports fishing, summer auctions, markets and fairs, summer theatre and other fun activities are always in the vicinity.
Both lake and sea beaches are available within walking distance, the northern wilderness is just around the corner and historic old fishing villages are close enough for exploring by bicycle.
Access to a self-contained kitchen is one convenience if you'd rather make your own snacks. If not, we do serve breakfast and light meals throughout the day.
Some rooms come with their own sinks but the bathrooms are all in the hall.
Prices are hostel prices with your own choice of services. If you've packed your own sheets and towels we won't make you pay for ours.
Simply put, we provide a friendly B&B environment which won't hurt your budget and we'll cater to your specific needs.
