What an amazing place to stay. Worth going to Nagoya just for this place! The manager was also really kind.

Great bath facilities, nice little music playing throughout the main areas, nice garden that would be pleasant during spring/summer.

Very nice hostel, especially if you come by car, you can park the car for free. There's also a nice onsen and garden in there. The rooms were really nice and clean, the staff very helpful and kind. But it's quite a walk from the station, that's the only downside to this hostel. But value for money wise it's great! We couldn't believe that we got into such a nice hostel for the amount we paid. Highly recommended.

Great place!! The owner is very nice and the rooms are great! Only 4 to a room, Japanese style (futon), a huge TV, Internet, a computer, and a private bathroom for each room.

I certainly enjoy my stay at kyoya ryokan, but I didn't have a chance to say thank you to Sato san. This is the only thing I regret most. arigato sato san.

My trip to Japan was meant to be high value. So I ended up booking budget shared accommodation everywhere I went.Kyoya Ryokan was budget but unlike the other places it is no hostel!! The place is full of character, and will give you a great, traditional experience. I wish I had the time to make better use of the facilities. Very clean. Spacious for shared accommodation. Peaceful. Public bath. Feels like a hotel. Friendly staff. Just a little far from Nagoya Station. RECOMMENDED!!

Lovely modernised version of the traditional ryokan style. Very clean, staff were helpful. Bit of a walk from the station, but getting a taxi would be very easy (we're just travelling on a budget so minimising costs). Would stay there again if I was in Nagoya.

At first I was really surprised by the quality of this ryokan. Looks from outside really luxurious, for the cheap price. Once inside, still amazed by the quality of the services and also facilities. It was my first time that I stayed in a such hostel, and was one of the most amazing experience! I really appreciate the onsen, and tatami. Also, the fact that they provide everything that you might need!

It is in a nice location. A bit of a walk from the station but it is closer to everything else. I stayed at a dormitory style tatami floor room. It was very clean, nice, and warm when I went there. They have a really nice public bathroom as well as a private ensuite shower room in case you are shy. Hiro is a very friendly and bright person as well.

An excellent example of a traditional Japanese hotel at a hostel price! Hiro was very helpful and the location was great. I really loved the onsen and the way you sleep in the room. I would definitely stay again, over and over! Not a hostel to miss out on going to while in Japan!

I liked your hostel a lot. It was clean and tidy, the rooms were comfortable and the staff was helpful. Also, the map we recieved helped us a lot during our stay. Your hostel is by far the best hostel I have ever stayed at. It was well organized, and the interior was classy. And, I'm a big fan of sleeping on tatami, so that's a plus in my book.
