The staff was very helpful and friendly. Great place to stay. We gave some tips for improvement as the house is still under construction. Food was great and different from the usual maroccon dishes. Best is the sea ! Tip : maybe get the children from the school to clean the plastic in the village and on the roads once a week. The beach is very clean but otherwise there is still a lot of work to be done .

The place is amazing. I stayed an extra 3 days because I feel in love with the place. Don't be put off by the admin to get here. It's really not that hard and if you want to play it safe and organise a taxi you'll be here in 30min. Plus the food is silly good! 10 out 10!

What a beautiful and special place. We had a stressful time trying to reach this place and had trouble with taxi drivers on both journeys but once you arrive it's worth it. It is a peaceful sanctury where you can truely wind down and soak up the a unique Moroccon location. The food was some of the best food we've ever had! Kara is a queen of the kitchen! Would definitely come back!!

This is the place to go in Morocco! Go here if you need to get away from the hustle and bustle of Morocco for a while and stay for extremely good food, good surfing and hours of talking and reading with the nicest view you will find on your trip. Nothing to complain about! Just bring enough cash, the next ATM is ages away ;)

No word will be enough to comment about L'Ane Vert, when you find it to book, just book and go because you are going to the paradise, amazing staff, lovely and gorgeus food, close to one of the most beautiful beach in Morocco, all clean, nice shower and toilets, it was a great experience this hostel, perfect

Her review: Great setting, wonderful atmosphere, lovely staff. Loved the connection with locals and also the generous meals. His review: It was an absolute mission to get to this place. It's well worth it. It feels very much like a community and every day is different. Highlights include sleeping on the deck under the stars, eating grilled fish in the fishing village, and meeting the local Berber shepherd by the beach.

Amazing place, delicious food and absolutely stunning scenery. Family atmosphere 100% would recommend! Keep up the good work!

I have no words to describe how happy I am for choosing this place :) Good vibes everywhere!! Staff is more than amazing, they genuinely care about you!! You have the beach just for you, food is delicious, the views from the terrace are breathtaking!! This gem is not exactly in Essaouira, is just a ride away (close to Tafedna commune) however this paradise is totally worth it!! Come and chill you will not regret it!! Thanks L'Ane Vert and everyone in there for sharing your love and light!! xoxo

An incredible place. Not the easiest to find but that really is the whole part of the charm. Make sure to bring plenty of cash with you as there are no ATMs near by and you will not want to miss out on the incredible food!!
