Amazing hostel, very close to the city for the price! Nice staff and facilities and a very clean hostel! Hostel was clean and staff friendly.I never felt unsafe and saw no trouble in Harlem,even walking by myself at night(obviously be mindful everywhere in NY). Good atmosphere and locals friendly. Location is also fine if you don't mind walking a little way or getting Subway to more touristy locations.Subway station is close.I was booked in a 6 bed room that led straight on at the end of a corridor with other rooms coming off (no door) so didn't feel that secure (lockers available though)Hostel was clean and staff friendly.I never felt unsafe and saw no trouble in Harlem,even walking by myself at night(obviously be mindful everywhere in NY). I enjoyed my stay in the hostel in room 302. Just three things I would like to comment on: it is loud at night, through those windows you hear every sound from the streets, the metal beds are also very noisy , you hear when people move from the other rooms as well. And it is far out unfortunately , it can take up to an hour to downtown. But since the price was good, I cannot complain. If it gets more expensive, I would decide to stay closer to the city. Clean, nice looking, nice breakfast!!!I enjoyed my stay in the hostel in room 302.
