Great location. Lacks a common area
We had to wait outside for 15mins until the staff turned up to let us in. The rooms were very spacious but very hot at night without aircon and because it backed into an alley you were woken at 6am by the screaming locals. WIFI was unpredictable but breakfast was ok. This would be a good hostel if you don't plan on staying in the heat of summer. The location was excellent. I did not find the communal area that was advertised?
Really great location nearby the train station. The staff was very nice and we were lucky to get some new friends at the hostel. The breakfast was good too! Thank you! :-)

Maybe it was just bad luck for me, but I have to say that the location was the only good thing about this hostel. I was suppose to stay two night but due to some personal traveling issues I was only able to make one night. I was still charged both nights even though I called and left a message multiple times (which by the way the reception doesn't even have a phone its a personal number) and emailed prior to the 24hrs. When I got there the guy in charge was rude about the situation. Good luck!

The staff was cool, somewhat helpful getting me places. They were unorganized though, scrambling to put things together. Breakfast is always a plus at a hostel, it wasnt too hot for not having AC. Hardly a common area to meet people. Somewhat difficult to find but its doable. A pretty average hostel, really. Its venice though so everything is expensive
The lockers could be improved, they don't seem that secure, and one receptionist didn't speak English. Other than that my stay was perfect! The view from my room overlooked the grand canal but was quiet at night. It has a great breakfast and good kitchen/common room, I'm a solo traveller and was always meeting people! Great vibe. It's easy to get to, clean and the guy who was on reception most of the time was really helpful when I asked for advice.
Great location and spacious rooms! However, a bit inconvenient having to cross the kitchen to use the bathroom. Not much of a party atmosphere as no common area apart from kitchen. But staff were really helpful and told us where to find various places!
After reading the reviews I was very worried about my stay in Venice, however this host exceeded my expectations. My bedroom window looked onto the grand canal, and was so close to the train station which is what you want. I wouldn't recommend staying if you are looking to make friends, good for groups. Good kitchen facilities.
Great hostel away from the overly touristic atmosphere. Close to train station and near water-bus stops, however I got around mostly by foot anyway! Nice social breakfast!
Simple to find with directions provided. BEST breakfast I have seen in a hostel - table covered with food! Female staff was lovely :) Dorm was spacious. Small basins outside of my bedroom was great. I received some helpful tips for sightseeing and had a great stay !
Esta cerca de la estación de trenes lo cual es muy bueno, al frente tiene la parada de bus en barco, buen ambiente , bastante sencillo y simple, Tatiana es muy amigable .
One staff member, a woman, was fab but the man was consistently grumpy and a little bit rude. However easy to find in difficult Venice and a good kitchen/living area.
If only the man who worked here was the smallest bit nice or friendly or helpful I could give an excenllent review. We asked him simple questions such as if there was a laundry mat and he just points at a map of the whole city. Very short tempered and rude. Everything else was pretty good. Good directions and location.
I stayed there for 3 nights and will probably return to the hostel (unless I'll be able to afford a hotel in Venice ;)). The staff were really nice and helpful, they will tell you everything you need to know about Venice and how to get around. Getting to the hostel from the main station is really easy, and for me the location was great.
A little pricey but in central Venice on the island so great location. Staff was good and breakfast included so overall not a bad stay. Bathrooms were decent, could use a little maintenance but as expected for a hostel.
Loved that this hostel was on the island. Free breakfast was good and staff was helpful. Downsides - only two showers for the whole hostel (~15 people?). Also the doors to the room do not lock, but you can get a pretty large locker to secure everything.
Great location. Easy access to bus and train station. Not safe though. only two closets to lock your stuff up , so if you aren't lucky to get one, you have to leave your stuff in the open. Had one of my items stolen and the staff is not helpful because they don't speak English. The guy at the front desk made me type what I was saying into Google Translate, still couldn't help me. no locks on room door.Bathroom is not clean. No door on shower so the floor gets extremely wet and very slippery.
Very thoughtful staff. Prepared breakfast for me and my friend when we checked out earlier. Here are some things that could be improved: - Some cabinet are worn out, locker breakable easily - There were mosquitoes around at night which disturbed my sleep. I'm not sure if there were netting for the windows - The mixed room dorm is directly facing the sea so it's pretty noisy throughout the night - Internet is pretty slow
Great location and rooms were nice, they provided a padlock and locker and an okay breakfast. Not the most helpful staff (no free map!) but were friendly enough. Only 2 bathrooms in the whole place which was a pain and they were always really wet as could do with better bath mats. Didnt see a lot of cleaning going on but my bed was made in the mornings. Overall nice experience and would stay again next time im in Venice:)
