The hostel has a great location. The room I stayed in had a great view and was big. Few toilets and poor breakfast were the worst I found. Would recomend.

My time at L'Imbarcadero was definitely made easier and brighter by the helpful, cheerful staff! The accomodations are clean and the environment is chilled and all-age cosmopolitan. Great location and amazing view from the room!

We booked 2 nights in L'Imbarcadero, Venice but when we got there we were informed that we will be actually staying in an apartment 2 mins away. I've read many bad reviews about things like that happening but we got lucky. The apartment was very nice. We had a living room, dining room, bathroom, balcony and a kitchen which was fully stocked. There was another couple staying in the other side of the apartment but we never saw them. The only share space was the kitchen and the living room.

It's located just by the Canal and I had a great view from my window. Although it's not located in the very centre of Venice, I would say the location couldn't have been better. It takes only 15 minutes to walk to St. Marcos but it's in a quiet neighbourhood, which gives you a nice and peaceful experience in such a touristy touristy town.

The hostel was beautiful with lots of space - fairly convenient location even if a little tricky to find the first time. Some of the staff were amazing, and others were not as helpful... Overall a good place though and I Would stay there again.

I stayed here towards the end of March. The staff is super friendly and helpful! They assisted with asnswering questions about how to get around and must see places. The hostel is not huge but quite cozy and the atmosphere is very relaxed and chill. The lockers were not too secure but overall the location was right near the Riva di Biasio vaporetto stop and easy access via water bus. At night the staff showed us local bars and that was cool. Kitchen has everyhting you need for easy use

I stayed for 2 nights at L' Imbarcadero during Carnevale di Venezia. I arrived almost 23h at the hostel. But, staff welcomed me warmly. There were just two Bath rooms with toilet. But I never felt inconvenience. The room was cozy but not warm. The breakfast is always well-prepared at the dining table. All staff were very kind and nice. Some people might have a difficulty to find the hostel. But, just follow the direction they mentioned at HostelWorld.com, then nothing to worry about it.

Not the best experience for a number of reasons: 1). Cold showers. 2). Lack of security for bedroom - no lock on dorm door 3). Lack of secure storage - wooden cabinet to put bag in but the back could be accessed as it was broken 4). No Internet 5). Asked to use washing machine, said yes then told I couldn't for no reason 6). Staff did not speak English, tried to help me near the end. 7). Initial introduction to house and facilities non existent Is close to train station

This Hostel is very clean with a superb staff that are always willing to help you out. The breakfast its very complete, the bathrooms with hot water and aways very clean. There is a place to cook as well as a dining table. The rooms are huge and very clean. Probably the best value for your money if you´re in Venice.

The hostel was very hard to find especially during winter evenings. Would help if they had a small sign to show the narrow side lane to enter. The staff there spoke very little english and we had hard time to explain what we needed. The kitchen was pretty decent and we could prepare our meals there. During our stay, the only PC they had was unable to access to internet. This was really inconvenient as we wanted to confirmt train tickets and our next hostel's bookings. we like the hair dryer!

The cleaning lady that works there is completely insane. The only reason I marked the staff as poor is because of her. If it was only her, it would have been marked as very poor. She's crazy and rude.
