Excellent value for money,5 mn walk from 2 supermarkets, shops, restaurants, car/scooter rent, and ferry too Meia Praia Beach.15mn walk to Dona Ana Beach.Rooms are good size and clean, they also have air con which is a must. Towels are changed in summer every 2 days. There is a small drying area near the kitchen for beach towels and they have beach umbrellas that you can borrow for free. No noise and not too many rooms. Only missing is room safe. Owner very helpful with info. about tours.

Very nice stay at this guesthouse. The kitchen is not supplied with spices as simple as salt and sugar, that would have been MUCH appreciated. However, the rooms and bathrooms are extremely clean and modern, the location is 5 minutes walking distance from city centre!

The position is great in particular because the car park is free. Is far from the downtown and the heart of the night life at about 5 minutes by walk. It's also close to the harbor if you wanna take a boat for a trip around the coast. Good place! Marco

Good quiet location, up a hill above the main town centre but still within walking distance to everything (5 minutes to the supermarket, 5 - 10 minutes to the main restaurant area, 15 minutes to the closest beach). Good sized and clean room. Handy to have access to shared cooking facilities. Owner was helpful in pointing things out on a map when we arrived. Just make sure you confirm your arrival time otherwise there probably won't be someone to meet you. Excellent well priced accommodation.

We could not have been happier with our stay here! This isn't a party hostel but it's nice and quite, immaculately clean, huge well equalities kitchen and clean bathroom - we felt like we barely shared with anyone! Fantastic spacious and confortae room with balcony - awesome value for money! We felt like we hit the jackpot and would absolutely stay here again!

LC's Guesthouse was in a perfect location for us, as we were looking to have a nice relaxing vacation, walking distance from the town and beaches. The only frustration was check-in, which we found difficult since we found out when we arrived that we had to call upon arrival, and since we were travelling from Canada and the US, we did not have phones or internet connection. Other then that, Paulo was very helpful in explaining all of the nearby activities. Apartment was very clean and spacious.

Very nice and clean place! And really good value for money.

Lagos is a small area. This guesthouse is a 5 minute (downhill) walk to the nearest grocery store and 6 - 7 minutes to the city centre. Check in with Paulo is quick, even abrupt, where he collects payment and gives you a map. Do not expect to see him again during your stay. There is a kitchen, but this is truly a place to stay if you are only looking for a bed with air conditioning at night.

Our favourite hostel in Portugal. A gorgeous double room with a big sunny balcony. The hostel is very clean, and the beds were the most comfortable beds we have slept in at any hostel ever! Location is good - walking distance from the beach, bars, restaurants etc, but in a quiet spot so you get a good night's sleep. Paulo was very friendly and helpful. He even drove us to the bus station in Lagoa at 6am because we had accidentally booked the wrong bus tickets! We'd definitely stay here again. :)

Cosy and comfortable room. Balcony was closed actually but nice with table and chairs. The owner quite impatient as was calling four times "when are you going to come?"
