About Argyle Backpackers
Comfortable, relaxed, friendly. The place in Edinburgh for a homely, chilled atmosphere. Roomy, clean and hospitable, Argyle Backpackers is just off the Meadows, Edinburgh's central park and a hub during the festival. We are only a 10-15 minute walk from the famous Royal Mile with its castle and the buzzing city centre, yet in a clam and relaxed part of town with a nearby pub, restaurant and shops. If you're looking for a good sleep and a relaxing time then this is your place. Great also for access to the University.
We have top facilities including 2 kitchens, a living room (with real fire!) and a conservatory looking onto a private garden. Also don't forget internet access with 15 mins free on arrival, free tea/coffee and us, the friendly staff!!
PLEASE NOTE: Check-in time is 2pm - 11pm and customers arriving *after 11pm* will be charged an additional *£5* late arrival fee.
We do not check in anyone after midnight.

Important notice:
-Reception is open from 09.00-22.00 (UK time), 24hr key access
-Passport /driving licence is required to check in
-GROUPS OF 4+ PEOPLE MUST PHONE TO BOOK
-Any guest under the age of 18 can stay only in a private room with family member who is over 21.
-cancellations must be made at least 24h in advance (by 10:30am on your arrival day)
IMPORTANT NOTE FOR AUGUST:
ARGYLE BACKPACKERS: Will take cancellations for August, however you will not be refunded for the first night, and if you decide not to
cancel 48 hours before your arrival date you will be charged for the whole amount of your stay
IMPORTANT NOTICE FOR THE NEW YEAR:
There is a minimum of 3 nights stay required during New Years and we don't accept any cancellation between 28 Dec - 02 Jan. Your c/c will be charged the outstanding amount shortly after the booking was made.
