Definitely a party hostel, but very well-run, and kept very clean. The distance outside the center is a slight disadvantage...but the walk (only 15 minutes, but uphill) keeps you in shape...and if you're feeling lazy, the cab ride is $1. Friendly staff, comfortable beds, and good facilities (bar, food, wifi, lockers etc.). I've stayed here four nights, and I'll come back when I'm done with the Salkantay trail.Definitely a party hostel, but very well-run, and kept very clean. Loki is suffering an identity crisis. Is it a bar, hostel, or a cheap, perverse version of club med?
The parties are great, but so are the ones in town, where you will at least be able to speak Spanish and meet locals, something not possible at Loki.
The only drawcard is the reputation of a party place.
Food & drinks are cheap, nothing unique or peruivian. The dorms are clean, lots of toilets, but frequently vomit stained in the morning.

The only down is the location which is a bit far from the Plaza de Armas. But itīs not a problem at all specially because the taxis cost 2,5 soles and the hostel is really great! Staff is very helpfull, the bar is awsome and itīs not so nosy anymore (i stayed in the nearest room and the sound didnīt bother me at all), they have graet menu, the rooms and bathroom are constantly cleaned...One of the best hostels I ever stayed in. Stayed here for two nights before a trek and one after. Would definitely recommend it. Staff are really helpful, they've got a great bar and free Wifi too. Loki party style is not for the faint hearted. But if its party people youre looking for this is the place. The food was awesome and the bar staff super cool. If my my body could have taken more abuse, which it cant, I definitely would have stayed longer!Loki party style is not for the faint hearted.
