This is lovely hostel with a great setting. It is a pain to get to which may deter some travellers given Cusco's altitude but I think it is worth the significant climb. The only negative is that because of the size of this hostel it attracts people travelling in large groups, many of whom don't seem to want to make new friends. So for that reason this hostel is less social than you might expect. That said, the parties here are great and cusco has a brilliant nightlife so it's not a huge issue.

Wished I had more time to experience the full Loki experience and get involved in more of the activities, especially the football game. A fun hostel that loves to party, but the rooms still remain relatively quiet so you can sleep if required

Fun party atmosphere, generally clean, and consistent hot water. I would definitely stay here again (even though you have to walk up a hill and a bunch of stairs to get here). ask for a room away from the bar if you want to sleep before 2am.

I do not know if is because the road was closed but you have to go throught 10X stairs to arrive there. Besides that the place is very good.

I love it so much that i ended up staying there for over three weeks and managed to work behind the bar! The only thing is the hill up to the hostel, but other than that i would recommend anyone in cuzco stay at Loki.

Awesome staff and facilities, the showers were way too cold though, especially since it rains so often in Cusco.

Very good and well-priced breakfast/lunch/dinner menu in the bar, always something happening at the bar at night makes for a very fun time, Just suck it up for walking up the stairs to the hostel from the city centre it's not that bad! Good acclimitisation for one of the treks out of Cusco! One of the best hostels I have stayed at in South America (certainly the funnest nights)

It's a party hostel but the bar is very good (with quite and reasonably priced food) and the people I met we're really friendly. Loki's tours were also well priced and well run. Ask for a room well away from the bar if you want to sleep before 2am. Rooms are spacious but a little dirty so don't drop anything! Also no hot water in the middle of the night after the Inca trail was a bit disappointing but this first time I stayed here it all worked.

Big party hostel! If you need some sleep ask for a room far away from the bar area, because its very loud there
