Dorm building to a college. If you go in expecting a normal hostel environment, you will be delightfully surprised. If you go in expecting a dorm, you will know exactly what your getting.

The shared toilets were in a terribly unclean state. Wireless internet didn't work. The atmosphere is generally drab and uninviting (it is student accomodation after all). Overall though it's ok given the price and the central London location.

Our room had 1 bed with prominent springs (a thicker mattress pad would solve that) and needing work around the sink. The particle board had deteriorated around the sink and was missing edges and surfaces. It looked nasty. Our children's room #325 didn't have that problem so was acceptable. Breakfasts were fine. Facility clean. Wi-Fi good in the common room. Location was convenient. Lots of food and shopping in the neighborhood. Most everything we needed was close by.

It was good to stay there on average. But the only bad thing is about shared bathrooms. It was a little bit dirty and there is no place to put my shoes and clothes. And the best thing is breakfast which you can choose 6 mixed foods.

Good students hall/hostel. Simple, clean, no party or sth., but at least a lobby to meet ppl! Staff quiet uninterested, but helpful! Would go there again!

This is a university accommodation, so don’t expect the same atmosphere as other hostels. The rooms itself are very poor, and mine was a bit smelly. On the other hand, if you’re just looking for a cheap place to stay in a fantastic location in London, this is the place to go.

It is a very quiet and clean place. But the best thing is the location, in a very good neighborhood with very easy acess to all the things in London.

This hostel doesn't offer free internet. I can't understand how a hostel in the downtown of london doesn't offer free internet to its customers. I am very disappointed for that. Apart from that the staff were unkind.

This hostel was very well located. I stayed in a single room with a shared bathroom and toilet. The room was clean and comfortable and even had a small fridge and a sink. The showers were great but the toilet was a bit smelly and the hand dryer didn't work. The kitchen on my floor was under rennovation whilst I was there and I didn't get the chance to check out the others. The breakfast was excellet and catered for everyone, The common was well equipped as well. I would definitely stay again.

Overall it's OK to stay there. Except for bathroom and toilet because it located outside your bedrooms.

The showers felt very unclean in general; the toilets would often not flush and left a foul stench on the entire floor and the roof of the shower was full of mould (floor 3); it was very disgusting. The people serving breakfast were rude to us when we did not understand "the system"... the towels were not exchanged even when placed in the sink (as instructed) and when we wanted a second towel, this was quite impossible to arrange. Finally, the friggin' soda machine stole 3 pounds from me >:(

it would be useful to have a plug in the hostel rooms. Maybe I did not look properly, but I could not find one.

Good value for money. If you don't mind shared, co-educational bathrooms and showers, you want to stay in prime location without spending much money - this is a place for you. Breakfast is included in the rate and it is impressive comparing to a standard hostel breakfast.

The hand dryer in the toilet is so loud, that you can still hear it in your room.
