enjoyed stay, reception staff helpful, thought perhaps kitchen staff could be friendlier. Lock on toilets could be improved -- they made unoccupied toilets look like they were engaged.

Passfield Hall is perfect for your stay in London.Central, clean and value for money. You can go to Piccadilly Circus on foot in 20/30 minutes. It's great for London.Breakfast is very good and with a lot of items(even if you can choose 6 of them)but i can say that is more than you can eat.All is perfect for us.Common bathrooms but always available and also clean.

Due to some confusion on the hostelworld website, I did not realize that booking a Single Private room for 2 actually meant that you end up with 2 separate rooms. My wife had been studying abroad and we had not seen each other for 4 months, so needless to say staying in separate rooms was not an option. The front desk staff was extremely helpful in working with us to help remedy our situation (James in particular helped out tremendously). Recommended!

The showers were really bad, not so clean and there was almost no hot water, but apart from that, it was ok

Some reception staff not very well informed. I reported that there was no plug in the basin in my room on arrival, Monday, to be told it would be entered in the Maintainance log & fixed. I reported it again on Thursday & the lady on reception spoke with the maintainance person via radio at the time. On checking out on Sunday I enquired again at Reception, to be informed that plugs have been removed from basins in all bedrooms. I waited all week for this 'fault' to be fixed. Breakfast - fab.

Good, functional rooms for a one/two night stay in central London when you don't want to sleep in a dorm. Only minor cleanliness quibble was due to overflowing sanitary bin. When reported to reception in the evening, it had to wait until morning to be sorted.

The hostel's location is absolutely great - in the center of the city, near Euston station (5 minutes) but on very quiet and green street, near very beautiful old buildings. It's really great to walk here, especially in the evening with street lights - it's bery beautiful. The room was very clear and all the facilities (shower, kitchen) were new and also very clear, and I liked that there are enough toilets and showers on the floor and they are very close to the rooms. The breakfast was nice too
