Nice place for young people, but definately not a hostel if you want a 8 hour sleep. Loud music till 2am. Installation very nice.

Too noisy!

Very close to the city and beach, just 5 min. Roof Top is great the Party was amazing and the staff were very helpful.

Great hostel! Staff was amazing and really good services. Located in the city center so there are lots of nightclubs and restaurants around. Definetly going back soon.

This is a beautiful hostel with pool/ courtyard and rooftop terrace. Perfect location in the heart of Santa Marta. Only had a short one night stay here but enjoyed the bar with pool table and the Mexican restaurant next door.

Cool place, great staff, nice little pool to cool off in, great roof terrace, nice beds and good bar. (Needs a few more computers though, the waiting gets tedious!)

Very friendly, helpful staff. Double room was very large and comfy with air-con and fan. Cleaners going around constantly so place is very clean. Good atmosphere in bar and communal areas. Very nice dogs and cats. It can be a bit loud, but that is to be expected in a large hostel with a bar.

Good allround hostel. Everything we needed. Definatly recommend. The Mexican resturaunt attached is a bonus!

i stayed at this hostel already many times, always came back when i was in santa marta. its a lovely hostel, big, clean and with lots of good facilities: pool, bar, rooftopterasse (the best) with lots of hamocks and chill areas. just its way to hot in the bar, its a shame. its worth it to get rooms with a/c, the bathrooms could get cleaned a bit more often and would need ventilation, its very hot in there. u can meet lots of cool traveller and have a great time here. and its good located.

Great place in fact the best Hostel I stayed at in Colombia. Staff was smart and got things done. Would highly recommend this place. I fact I have already sent 5 friends their way. Thanks.

The kitchen is really small and not very well-equipped and it is VERY hot there. On the other hand, there is a nice pool where you can cool off and the bar is really nice with a few activities such as a quiz some nights. The staff is very friendly, good and helpful and all of them bilingual. The roof is a good place to relax at night and enjoy the breeze sitting in a hammock e.g. Despite the heat and some mosquitoes, it is definitely a very good hostel to stay in.

Booked one night, stayed for five... one of the most enjoyable and fun hostels I´ve stayed in around the world! Not for everyone´s taste, please note this is very much a party hostel... don´t come here if you want early nights and good sleep, DO come here if you enjoy making new friends from around the world and having an unforgettable few days. The staff are great, and they can help you arrange trips to Minka, Tayrona, Cartagena, etc. Highly recommended if you value fun and friends!

Your place was fantastic. Please try to figure out how to turn the music down so that people who want to sleep can do so at night. Every night in room 101 for the 8 days I was there, the room was full of people trying to sleep by 12am and the music was blasting. Your place was great! Thanks again.

Had an absolutely amazing time in La Brisa Loca. Its in a great location, the centre of town, so you can easily walk around. The staff are so friendly and welcoming. Especially a certain bartender from Detroit, Mike was amazing and his Spanish was second to none! I cant recommend it enough.

Really nice staff, very helpful. It has a great vibe and the place allow you to have a good time. It´s close to many things in the city.

I would totally recommend this hostel to someone I know, unless the person is looking for a really quiet place.

Too noisy. If you want to enjoy nightlife, it's awesome. If you plan to find out the beauties of the city and of the surrounding....might be annoying.

i liked the hostel very much, its a beautiful big house, i stayed much longer then planned. the location of the hostel is very good, everything is in walking distance. the hostel has a great small pool to chill for the hot afternoons, the rooftopterrazze is magic, so nice to chill out with a perfect breeze and hanmocks, even at night u can make some parties there. the bar in the hostel is always fun, lots of cool people. the rooms are spacious, its worth it paying more for a/c.
