Grat place to party. You can relax during day on the rooftop and in the night have fun. Lots of cool pleople from all over the world. The kitchen was nice, altough quite dirty but usefull to cook. Bedrooms haver great lockers and are big enough. The location is perfect at the centre of Santa Marta. Alltough breakast is not included they offer great ones. The bar is quite expensive but not too much, affordable.

The only "party hostel" in the heart of Santa Marta. It has good facilities and is in a beautiful building. That said, there wasn't much partying going on while I was there and the bar prices are somewhat inflated! Still, it's a very good hostel indeed.

Better than I expected for a large hostel! The cheaper non-AC dorm is all you need since a breeze blows through the entire hostel. Great vibes on the roof terrace. The washroom facilities are top notch and always kept clean. For such a big place, the wifi is spot on and it's also a bonus to have your towel included. For the price, you shouldn't have to set your own sheets on the bed. Also, the communal kitchen is rather small and lacking a few essential cooking supplies.

The building, with its amplitude and colonial style, is definitely a plus. Really nice atmosphere, with a top floor terrace for partying and quiet spots also. The staff is very helpful. The only thing I didn't like is that you had to buy a lock for the security boxes outside the hostel. Sure, it's really cheap, but still a bother, and the hostel should provide it. All in all, really recommended.

Came for 3 nights. Stayed for 6. Great hostel. One of my favourites so far. Everything a traveller needs thought about. Charging points in the safes. Good showers. Great bar. Stay here.

This is a really cool hostel with great rooftop, bar and really good food in comparison to other hostels. The bathrooms are cleaned often which is nice.

Beautiful hostel. Comfy beds. Great bar and pool. Bathrooms were constantly being cleaned. Only downside is not all rooms have aircon - I sweated up a storm all night and found it hard to sleep.

Good party hostel with a nice rooftop. But not the best place for meeting fellow travellers. Showers are very clean. Music is played very loud and till late, so if you want a quiet night of sleep this is not the place!

if u go to Tayrona... they just give u a piece of paper... Tayrona is not awesome like Parque Nacional Morrocoy or Parque Nacional Mochima

This is the perfect place to go if you want to party but still get a good night's rest. The party is on the roof so it's far enough away that one could sleep but still close and fun! The showers were hot and clean and guests were respectful of each other.

This hostel was clean and well-located, and we were able to leave our bags for several days while we went hiking in Tayrona. If you are looking for a quiet, chill place this may not be the one for you as the bar can get pretty loud at night (though they tone it down after midnight or so). The room was expensive (private double with bathroom), but the food and drinks were well-priced. They have a very nice veranda on the roof with seating and hammocks.

Amazing hostel, great staff, locations and the rooftop parties are amazing!

All of the staff at La Brisa Loca were awesome, with the exception of one guy who wasn't all that friendly. Great bar, great affordable food, really fun new year's party! It's a great hostel environment. Our only concern was the cleanliness in our room- we paid for a private with a bathroom- stained sheets, gross shower- but other than that we loved the environment and location!

great and fun place! with a lovely rooftop terrace and an amazing atmosphere. however their were quite a few cockroaches in the bathroom which wasn't ideal.

beautiful and crazy. recommended.

This is a party hostel. Worth the stay for a weekend of fun. Bar is a common meeting place. Rooftop is sleek. Stayed 2 nights and made friends with 4 beautiful women and 5 fun guys. Notice that there are not photos of the rooms, that's because this place isn't about the rooms (which are basic but air conditioned).

great party hostel, amazing bar and rooftop, really easy to meet people. Great cheap food. easy to book trips from the hostel, diving etc. Easy to go to taganga/tayrona/palomino

Craziest hostel I have ever been to. If you like party hostels and are in Santa Marta to have a great time, that is definetely the place to be.

Very nice hostel with good staff. The facilities are excellent with an awesome rooftop hbar, 2nd Fl bar (w food service) and video room. Hostel was very clean with frequent cleaning of washrooms/showers throughout the day. Minor complaint would be the lack of tours offered and some of the front desk staff were really not very helpful at all wit basic info on intercity buses etc. Overall, it's a party hostel but not over the top, a little pricey, but would consider staying there again.

The fan's in the rooms could use some serious dusting...
