Excellent location - right near the ocean. It can be a little noisy and the rooms are right off the courtyard which felt a little insecure (we didn't have any issues). I would recommend staying here.

The staff were exceptional. Friendly , enthusiastic , efficient. I have to say that I have travelled for many years. Both in business and vocation. They are certainly amongst the best staff I have ever encountered. regards David

This is definitely a party hostel and although I was not too thrilled with that, I cannot complain about it or give them a bad review because obviously I knew that before going!!! So booking there was my own fault. I did like the staff, the room was nice, and the atmosphere (minus the part where people yelled at 2 in the morning!!!) was great! It could be cleaner but I did see the cleaning crew working on the bathrooms all the time. Overall, if you are into partying this is the place for you!!!

Great place to stay! Good bed, air con in the rooms, awesome atmosphere and the staff was incredibly nice! Totally recommended.

Bar stuff are great, vibe of the hostel is really cool and it's really well organised- the welcome before is awesome! It's super noisy so if you want to sleep on weekends, bring earplugs!

It's not only a fun place, also a beautiful colonial-style mansion.. Quick turn-over as this hostel is the only reason to stay in Santa Marta, and treat it as a spring board to Tayrona or Guajira

The hostel is great and the bar inside is the best, receive a lot of guests from another hostels to celebrate and drink with us. I stayed in another hostel and comparing the brisa loca is is great. I recommend ceartanly

Great place to stay. Has a party hostel feel about it, but apart from one night when there was some loud music for a short while, I slept fine. Great location and great helpful staff.

Definitely a party hostel with a great atmosphere. All of the staff (reception, cleaning and bar - plus the owners) were super helpful and friendly. I went for four days and ended up staying for six...

This is a gorgeous hostel in the middle of Santa Marta. It has really high ceilings and a pool for you to cool off! The rooms were a bit warm even with fans on but all in all very good!

La brisa loca is a really nice hostel. Fun to meat people and has all the facilities you need as an average backpacker tourist: Kitchen, lockers, internet and even a pool!! I was a bit dissapointed that not everyone of the staff spoke spanish. Rooms were alright, tawels included. My only complaint is that I think in a hostel were you share the bathroom with so many people they could clean it more frequently!

The staff was incredibly friendly and very helpful. It is a few blocks away from the beach in the city, el rodadero is a few minutes away by taxi.

great location, close to beach. great hostel, did not use the pool, but in the heat, it is a nice bonus to have.

Really fun hostel. Loads of different communal places which is really cool. Clean, great location near all the shops and staff are very helpful.

It is truely the best hostel in Sta Marta. But the prices are to high and there are too many people. The character is from a party hostel. The rooms without aircondition are too hot in the night. But all in all the hostel is clean, staff friendly and helpful, location good and the terrase is beautiful. What we hated where all the pets (2 dogs and a cat) that are there especially when the dog ate the waste from the kitchen!

Great place... near to the beach and some souvenir shops. The atmosphere was ok even if the vodka cocktail wasn't so good. The staff was gently.
