We had an initial problem with this hostel as it turned out that a "2 person dorm" was in fact 2 beds in a 4 bed dorm. But it was really cheap, with a nice atmosphere and friendly staff, and we actually ended up with the room to ourselves anyway. The kitchen is large and well provisioned and they've done a great job of making simple decor look really good.

The Caja Habitada is far and away the coolest hostel that I have ever stayed at. It is super modern and well decorated, but more importantly, insanely clean. I would love to have the completely outfitted kitchen for my own, as well as the third floor terrace. The staff were ally really chill and helpful, and provided us with great suggestions for eating and going out. The location is not perfect, but it is in a young, up and coming neighborhood with a ton of bars and delicious restaurants.

We were discussing it when we were there, but we would definitely stay here again, if not for the price, but maybe that was higher due to it being Semana Santa? We liked the hostel a lot, the facilities were incredible and the staff great. The only complaint we have is not being able to spend much time there!

Really handy location about a minutes walk from the numerous bars and cafes on Almeda de Hercules. Really cool decor - you won't believe you're getting such a nice place for so little money. The staff make delicious chocolate drinks for breakfast also.
