Great family-run hostel with comfortable and spotlessly clean ensuite rooms. We were given an extremely warm welcome and staff could not have been more helpful. Stayed there a second time as it was so good. Also location is excellent, 10 min walk to main square.
It was good overall but when cleaning the rooms please don't move personal stuff like tooth brush, hair brush etc.
The room was great, more of a small Hotel than a hostel.
There was a problem on arrival so we were asked to spend a night elsewhere , a little irritating but the lady in charge wasi so apologetic and made us coffee before showing us to this other place and even came back in the morning to make sure we knew where to come. The hostel is small and there is no communal kitchen but it is very clean and comfortable with excellent staff and homely feel.It is a good choice for visiting Cusco, close to the main square, hot showers and breakfast included.
We definitely enjoyed our stay at La Casa De Mi Abuelo and would recommend it. Our room was huge and not very warm, but the blankets were. It was quite a challenge to get hot water, but in the end we could work it out. Not the whole staff is speaking english, but everyone was dedicated to help when we needed something. The location is quiet, but only a few blocks from the main square and the breakfast (included) was nice.
Great location with fantastic staff. A short walk to the main square and easy access to the rest of the city. Best hostel I stayed in my entire time in Peru.
We had no water at a couple of critical moments, but I think that was the city. To their credit, the hostel had a back-up tank. Good breakfast, thank you. Thanks also for having good toilet paper. Rooms were cleaned and beds made every day, not something you often find at a hostel. Nice touch!
Really nice place with 100% friendly and helpful stuff. I would definitely go back back there again!

Kleines Familienhotel unweit vom Zentrum. Leute wirken alle sehr bemüht und freundlich, dennoch fühlten wir uns nicht 100% wohl, was vielleicht auch an der kalten Jahreszeit und den teilweise frostigen Temperaturen im Haus lag.
Great value for money, with great rooms, hot showers, huge TV, delicious breakfast, accommodating staff and very close to Plaza de Armas
The family that ran this hostel were very helpful and accommodating. It is about 6 blocks from the plaza de armas which was fine for us in a couple but I'm not sure I'd want to do that walk on my own late at night, but for me that was the only let down. Really good value compared to other places in cusco.
Really good hostel and staff super friendly !
I wouldn't recommend staying here. It wasn't that bad, it just wasn't that good. We found it very hard to find and a little out of the way. They organised our washing for us and not only was it late (we were in a rush to catch a bus) a lot of our washing was also missing, which we only realised after we'd left Cusco. It was mainly our underwear which was missing too, which I kind of feel is a necessity. The traffic and people yelling on the street also made it hard to sleep. Stay at Milhouse.
Very hot water every morning; scrambled / fried egg on request for breakfast, with juice and toast/jam as well. Great service / clean staff. Expect clean towels every other day, and don't expect to try and bring a few friends up to your room (a problem for some reason?). At the end of the day, if I ever visit Cusco again I will definitely return here.
