A nice, quiet and small hostel. Comfortable room, great how shower, good breakfast. The owner, Sonia, was very friendly and helpful. From the main square it takes some uphills but not really far way. The best hostel I've stayed in Peru!

An excellent place for the weary travel to spend a few nights reenergizing for more chaotic nights ahead.

La Casa de Mi Abuelo was one of the best hostels I've stayed in. Sonia, the owner, was so great and treated us like part of the family. Breakfast includes freshly made scrambled or fried eggs, tea and toast every morning! The rooms were clean, location was only a ten minute walk to Plaza de Armas, and the staff went out of their way to help us with anything we needed. They even let us leave our large bags with them while we went on a 4 day inca trail trek. Highly recommend this hostel!!

Sonya was super nice. Our bus got in early and we arrived 5am, Sonya found us an open room and offered us breakfast. They even held our bags for us while we hiked MP. Great place to stay.

Sonia made us so welcome. We left our bags there while we went to Machu Picchu and were welcomed back late at night when we returned. Breakfasts were excellent. No lounge.
