Located in a quiet neighborhood, La Casa de Teresa is the perfect place for a weekend getaway. Teresa is a lovely host and she will do anything to make you feel at home. Definitely recommended!

A little far from the main old town, but quiet and clean rooms, no breakfast included though. I think the place only has 3 or 4 rooms. The host is very nice, welcomes you when you show up, as she lives right there. The room (we reserved a twin, but it was 1 double bed) was nice, floor could be cleaner, with a TV and a fan. The whole place had a lot of shade, so an air conditioner was not necessary. Comfortable bed. The town of Colonia was not interesting -unesco world heritage site - really?!

Big bedroom, comfortable bed, extra room with table and chairs, tiny bathroom with its own hot water tank but meager shower flow. Everything spotless. Teresa is very earnest, friendly, and helpful. Breakfasts the best of our month in Argentina, with homemade chocolate cake! Kitchen has a big fridge, tables, chairs, stove and barbecue but no dishes or utensils until you ask. 20 minute walk from the historic town, residential house, no sign outside but Teresa came out to greet us. :)!

I was only here for 1 night with my parents and my boyfriend but I loved it! It was quaint, quiet and very clean. The owner is very sweet and very attentive. It's a bit far from the Barrio Historico if you're walking but we rented a golf cart over night so it wasn't a hassle to get to and from our hostel to different parts of town. It really is a great hostel, definitely not for partying. There was a tv in our room, wifi, hot shower (although the shower is the same room as the toilet room) :)

La Casa de Teresa is a nice place to stay in Colonia. It is about 25min walk from the town center, 10min walk from the beach. Teresa was very nice and we enjoyed staying at her house. There was noone else staying there except us. The only negative thing I have to mention is, that the blankets & the towels kind of smelled badly, so we used the towels we brought with us.
