Zarela (the owner) is a great host. Being low season I was lucky to have the whole dorm to myself the first couple of nights. I stayed 4 in total. Great service, comfy beds and awesome shower. If your a bit tired of the local cuisine in South America then get into the Thai dishes and Vietnamese Pho that she offers. They are excellent dishes with the pho and pad thai being my favourites. Cooked really really well and taste just like they do in the countries itself!

This hostel is great! Clean rooms and super warm blankets! Hot water as well which is a necessity in Huaraz! Wifi works in all areas and the Thai food served in the restaurant was delicious!! The owner was very lovely, spoke great English and was very knowledgable about activities in both in Huaraz as well as around Peru. Less of an atmosphere as most visitors to Huaraz are gone all day on day trips and early to bed. The only negative is that it's a little far from town, about a 10 minute walk.
