Fantastic place to stay in wooden cabins in beautiful; peaceful surroundings only a 15 minute walk from the centre of town. The owners are very helpful and have a great knowledge of the local area and more. Fresh apple juice from an orchard just up the track, Argentinian wine and a place to barbecue Patagonia lamb which is reared on the mountain side, what more could you want! . I very much liked it here and would highly recommend it !!!!

Nice hippie hostel. Bit far away from centre but first way to hostel Augustino will pick you up. He find me in the turist office where no one speak anglish. Augustino does everything to make you happy and he speaks English!. Nice breakfast in morning. There may by only one kitchen- in girls cabin so boys cook there as well. Couple of people mentioned there is not enough plates and glasses for everyone when they cook at the same time. I had very nice stay there and I do like walking.

We have been travelling for 6 months and this was one of the best hostels we have stayed in! It is a bit further from town, but Augustin picked us up after 26hrs bussing and arriving 7 hrs later than expect. We did yoga with Augustins wife in the morning, we had lovely dinners with other travellers, got fresh fruits out of the garden, played with their nice pets and Augustin came in early every morning to give us fresh baked bread and to put the heater on to make to house warm before we woke up.

The little cabins are very nice, spacious and come fully furnished; Internet is a bit flakey. It is a quite a walk to the town's center though. The place has a nice and relaxed atmosphere.

We stayed a few days in Augustin's house and had a great time, it's just like if you were at home. Don't be affraid by the 20min walk to the city, it gives you the tranquillity you need during your vacation. You can also use his bikes to reach the center of El Bolson.

Pros: - very friendly and helpful owner - free pickup from town - chilled environment and lots of outdoor space Cons: - wifi slow and only available in kitchen area - male dorm is in a separate building and it gets extremely cold in the morning (even in summer) there js no heater. - male dorm you have to go outside to use the toilet which is a pain at night

We stayed one night here and it was very nice. The owners take good care of you and give you information about the area. A bit far from the center, but a beautiful area and very close to fantastic walking trails in the mountains.

It's a really nice place to stay, quiet and cozy. Things are not new, but they have their charme and make you feel like at home! Showers were good and you get picked up, cause it's a bit outside. But perfect for some short trekkings. I really enjoyed my time there!
