Fantastic stay! Elena took very good care of us, so please pass on our thanks to her :-) Room was very spacious, comfortable and clean, just a few minutes away from the village's main street. Private bathroom was a plus (very spacious, modern and clean). 2 issues: - The address you get when you book a room is wrong (that should be corrected). Then you have to ask around to be able to find it. - Having to call an Italian number to check in when on roaming is a hassle.

Finding the place was a little tricky, but if you just call the guy, he'll meet you on the Main Street to show you where to go. Aircon or a fan would have been an added bonus as we were there in summer, however, not having it didn't affect our experience.

The staff is hard to find. They are very friendly but they don't spend time in the hostel. The hostel is very quiet.

The address is incorrect, wrong street, wrong number, the staff really need to fix this! Also, there is no reception which makes it a bit difficult to check in etc. You have to just wait or call but you don't have an Italian sim card it could be an expensive call!

La Casa di Venere is a great place to stay! Awesome staff; super friendly and helpful! The room was very spacious and clean. Easily reachable from the train station, located in the core of Riomaggiore! We can definitively recommend this place!

I had to call them as they didnt have reception at new building however the person I called was nice and came very quickly. Close to station, didnt have to hike much.. We were at their new building and the room was clean and spacious. Ac, heating, hot water all were working fine. Very secure door lock. Good value for money. Will stay again.
