Such a warm comfortable and relaxed atmosphere. Once I got a good blanket, the bed was comfortable and warm. One of the staff got toasted. I am not sure that is a good image to project, he was still nice, just drunk... Getting to and from the city requires a cab. It is a great out of the way spot though with no car and city noise and no exhaust smells! A very natural environment.

Simply amazing. Such beautiful open gardens to laze away and afternoon. Staff is friendly, helpful and fantastic. Home made jam and craft beer and pizzas are delious. Yes the hostel is 20peso taxi ride or 2.5 peso bus ride. But this hostel is well worth the stay. Warm wood fire place to accompany the vino tinto. Book in and you won't be disappointed. stay for a night you'll want to stay for a week.

This hostel is amazing, beautiful! The distance isn't an issue, taxis are only 18 pesos, the bus goes by every hour, and the place is worth it. The staff was really nice, it feels like home. I highly recommend it.

Honestly, my favorite hostel ever. It is a fantastic place to take it easy, lounging in a hammock in the sun. I made great friends with the other travelers--we cooked many dinners together. Delicious breakfast with good coffee and lovely homemade brown bread. I planned to stay in El Bolson for three nights and stayed for ten. It's that knid of place. Many thanks to the great staff for giving me a highlight of my trip.

This is a little slice of heaven which is very very hard to leave, especially when the sun is out and you´re swinging gently in one of the hammocks in what must be the most beautiful garden a hostel has ever had. The out of town location merely works to enhance the sense of being in a very very special place. My one and only gripe would be that one of the owners has a young toddler which is often around when he´s on duty in the morning and this can be a bit full on for tender heads at breakfast.

The kitchen and commen rooms were very good. The staff was very helpful with advice on where to walk and what to see. On the negative side you needed to be fairly organized to get the bus service into town, Sats seemed problematical. Fair hike to town. Give the private double over the dining room a miss if you want to get up early( before 9) to hike. Noisy until 12, 1, or later. Also can be smokey ( cigarettes) and god knows what from the kitchen. Dorms probably a. Better bet.

The hostel is 5km out of town, but you might consider that a good thing. This place is something else than your usual hostel. Very relaxed atmosphere, very inviting to interact with other guests, who are of mixed type.

The hostel is a great place to chill out and drink some home made beer! Its about 3km from town on a gravel path, so a little out of the way, but the setting is beautiful and worth it! The staff is awesome as well.

One of the best hostels I have stayed at-seriously! The idyllic surroundings, incredibly helpful staff and just the overall vibe of the place....I absolutely recommend it!

We had initially booked for 4 nights, but we stayed a week and would have stayed longer if we had the time! Absolutely wonderful little paradise hostel. THE place we had hoped to find during our travels in Argentina. The home made bread, jams, pizza and empanadas are delicious. The staff is brilliant, provides you with local info and they enjoyed playing with our baby (children are very welcome here!).

What a fantastic hostel! Stunning location and great staff. The kitchen was well equipped and all knives were sharp which is def a first! Different jobs so you're not cooking on top of each other. Great communal area with an open fireplace. Homemade bread and home-made jam for breakfast a def must stay!

Location is out of town as they say, but with the bus it was no problem at all to get in/out of town. The hostel itself is a fantastic building set in beautiful grounds. The guys that work there are all very nice and helpful, and will always do a pizza or empanada if you{re hungry. We did a great wine tasting course there one evening for 40 pesos! Good breakfast with homemade bread and jams, cereal etc. Highly recommended place to spend sometime for some R&R.

An excellent hostel - the staff are friendly, the food is great, the building and grounds are beautiful, and there's just a great vibe. The only downside is that it's a little way out of town, but buses run basically every hour, and this place is good enough that it's worth the trip. Reserve a few days in advance in high season if you want a spot.
