Excellent hostel!! Very nice and helpful staff. They can help with any tour and information that you need. Clean facilities. Breakfast is the best!!!

The shower smelled a bit moldy and the person working the check in desk was hard to find at times. The lot next door was playing loud music late into the night and early in the morning. The overall stay was fine. We hardly spent any time in the room at all.

Nice hostel, close to the city of La Fortuna and Volcan Arenal. The room was clean and with air conditioning which was unfortunately broken and super noisy though. Also, the staff was very helpfuk and friendly but unfortunately not around when we needed some help/wanted to check out etc. (that may be due to off season though). The breakfast is a big PLUS though! Fresh coffee, fruits and scrambled eggs (and toast of course). All in all my two friends and I would probably come back.

Clean and great rooms and breakfast. Highly recommend.

They need to invest in some new mattresses. Rooms smelt damp. Only one bathroom shared by everyone staying in all the dorm rooms. No time specified that guests need to be quiet so people up until 1am directly beneath the dorms with only wooden floor boards beneath us. No lockers! Sofas covered in dog hair and smell of dog. Good breakfast though!

We originally booked an all female dorm but ending up in a mixed dorm which was fine. The only problem was we never knew who had the key or if the door was locked. Definitely ask for a fan-that was a lifesaver!
