Excellent Hostel. Great location. Friendly & helpful staff. Large & shaded common area. Good breakfast, thanks!

I loved the place! Great atmosphere, great location, great people!

This is a hippie/chill place which lies in the bushes, therefore the communal & breakfast area is outside. First I didn´t really like it, but it changed, it´s quite nice. Just be aware of the mosquitos which can appear after dusk. Showers are a little annoying as there´s not much water coming out (and mostly cold), but it´s a stuff you can live with. Freshly brewed barista coffee in the morning is really nice though. Also they have laundry facilities and a clothes line.

Stayed for five days. Super fun and great staff. Easy to get to know other packers thanks to the common area that is right in the central of the facility. We are coming back in a month as and will definitely stay here again. Great location to!

We had a nice double room (ensuite) with a beautiful palmtree roof, but it got leaked, and as the floor was a bit dirty, all the room got dirty. Furthermore the shower drain wasn't working at all, the whole bathroom was floating in water. I think for 700 pesos/night it should be a lot more cleaner! We had to leave 100 pesos as deposit for the keys, and the last day we had to wait a lot for the receptionist, almost 1 hour (between 8-9am), it was really annoying because we had to reach a bus...

Was only here one night but everyone was very friendly. No complaints about my stay, everyone had good vibes. Dorms were clean and there are lockers and bicycles to rent. It's in a great part of town with lots going on. Beach and ruins are only a bike ride away.

This place has potential but really need cleaning and a general tidy up. Not somewhere we wanted to stay on any longer. Staff we're friendly.

This hostel is a very good place to rest. The staff is really nice and the owner is a very helpful guy, he took me all the way to Bacalar when I left the hostel, thank you!

The only good thing about this hostel is its location and price (that's if you want to be close to the city and not the beach). I got a bed in what looked like a run-down garage with almost no locks. The bed itself was ok but there was a lot of noise at night. No hot water in the shower and I couldn't get the tap water working in the washroom. It was more or less clean for hostels in Mexico though. They had small lockers for $1/night.

The staff were really inviting and helpful. I arrived on christmas eve and was immediality invited to christmas dinner. Staff also helped with all sort of questions etc. Atmosphere was relaxed and location excellent: crawling distance from the best mojito bar, so to say. I had great time =)

Super weird vibes from the moment we walked in... Staff were friendly enough. Owner is defiantly a weirdo, tries to take every penny he can from you. Not even a fan in our stinky room. Bathroom was close to unbearable... Weird place defiantly would not go back!

The best atmosphere!

It was realy unclean, we found a dead cocroach in the room. The staff was friendly, they even changed the room when we reported the cocroach, but we found more cocroaches in the new room. Also the other facilities were unclean - bathroom and kitchen area. The coffee amount at breakfast is huge, although other things are lacking - you only get two toasts, jam and fruit salat. They are expending the hostel with new rooms, although they should first inwest in renewing the current facilities.

Our room had dirt on the bed and only a small fan in a very stagnant room so our nights sleep was pretty uncomfortable. We also woke up with a huge cockroach in our room. Staff was very nice, but probably wouldn't stay there again.

Really nice place, excellent coffee for breakfast, lovely staff, good location... In general it was a perfect choice.
