I arrived lately in Pisa because of the flight, followed the instruction they gave which found the hostel easily. The place is quiet, safe and tify; the room is spacious than I would ever expected a hostel would be, the location is 5 - 10 minutes walking to tower of Pisa (eh

The owners were SO nice! They gave us a map of the city, walked us through all of the places to visit, gave us great restaurant ideas (both cheap and expensive - do the pizza restaurant they recommend, it's unbelievable), etc! So nice. The bathroom is super clean and spacious. The bedroom is light, roomy and clean. The location is ideal because it's quiet, in a beautiful residential area, and literally a 10 minute walk from the tower. Absolutely would stay again. Thank you!

Lovely guesthouse with friendly and helpful staff. Located in a nice, quiet area but only a short walk into the town centre. We stayed in a (huge!) twin room with a shared bathroom but didn't see another soul the whole time we were there, so it was like having private facilities! If you’re looking for somewhere lively and atmospheric, this isn’t the place for you. But if you just want somewhere clean and welcoming to stay a night (all you need in Pisa!) then I would highly recommend it.

Staying at La Coccinella was a rare delight. We were warmly greeted by Massimo and Jana, who gave us a thorough intro to Pisa and made us feel right at home. They have created a wonderful home-away-from-home atmosphere, with careful attention to every detail. Gorgeous marble floors, comfy bedding, spacious rooms and bathroom, cozy computer nook. An easy walk to the tower and to an excellent restaurant recommended by Jana - the service and house vino rosso were the best of our Tuscan adventure.

Staff was incredibly nice to us, providing a map of the surroundings and suggestions on where to go/what to see. Plenty of space in the rooms, which had a nice desk and shelves and armoire. Unfortunate was the lack of bathrooms (several rooms share only one). Clean and nice and close to the Leaning Tower, too (a bit far from the airport/train station, but buses go very nearby).
