Our stay here was great! We had a few troubles in Naples but coming back to the hostel was always so welcoming and comforting. Great price. Awesome staff. And a free breakfast. I would definitely reccomend it! We were supposed to stay here for 2 night but because of difficulties with our ride out of Naples we had to book a third night after we had checked out and they even gave us a discount which made things a lot better. I would definitely stay again!
The staff are amazing - especially Raph and Lucy! Location is a bit far from the old town and the pretty port areas which is the Naples you want to see, but that's why it's such a good price so it balances out. Just make sure you don't judge Naples on the main road, there's so much more to it beyond! Nice and close to train station which is good.
Nice place, nice rooms and room-mates. Kitchen always clean and ready-to-use. Fresh continental breakfast served in already in the early morning (the best for on-time workers!). Staff is friendly and well informed about tourism and culture of the town.

This is quite possibly one of THE BEST hostels ive ever stayed at!!!!! And I have stayed at a few. From the outside it looks like just another place but you get inside and wow! customer service in this place is unreal NOTHING IS A PROBLEM. and ive never been at another hostel where in the middle of the day my host's recognised me in the middle of town miles from the hostel and said hey asked if I was ok and could they help in anyway. THE BAR IS CHEAPST IN ITALY will definitely be back here :)
We had a great stay. The staff were so nice, even inviting us to lunch and on a scooter ride. There was a movie night and a small music show. The facilities were very clean. The stalls are a bit small but clean none the less. We visited Naples in late November so the atmosphere was a bit slow but we were still able to meet travelers and go on some tours. Restaurants are a little out of the way but close enough to walk if youre feeling up to it. Wifi only in common area. Would come back for sure!
Staff friendly, they gave us tips and maps. Good atmosphere and cool bar
The staff are helpful and the facilities are good except the water for shower is not stable. Breakfast provided is very nice, have plenty of choice and is all-you-can-eat. The hostel is next to the metro station but you have to change the line if going to the central station. The frequency of metro in the morning is about 10-15min each. Spent quite a lot of time in waiting for the metro if you go out in the morning.
The staff here are brilliant, helpful and friendly as soon as you walk in the door and will offer advice on what to do in Naples. About a 10 minute walk to the centre of town and close to a metro stop. The only big issue was lack of power points in the room to charge equipment over night, and the bathroom/shower facilities were a bit old with build up dirt. Overall a good place to stay though
Probably the one of the best hostels that we visited. It is 15 minutes from the train station using the subway, and 10 minutes from the city centre, which is good, because is a bit far form the noise from that area. The staff was very helpful and friendly, they give us information about how to get to places of interest. The host have a well equipped kitchen, and nice common areas, including a pub/cafe were you can have a beer and some free pasta during evenings.
A wonderful home away from home. Easily accessed from the metro, though being set back in an alley way can make it hard to find on your first day. The staff are more than friendly and make your stay even that much better.

Naples can be a little intimidating when you arrive but La Controra is like this amazing little place of peace and home in the middle of the crazy city. Awesome vibe, stayed two more nights than planned.
We arrived after looking for the hostel for 2 hours as the girl on the phone wasn't helpful at all. It was really hard to find the parking and when we finally arrived the girl at the desk made it very obvious she was annoyed and was quite rude with us. We stayed in a private double room but it had a disabled bathroom which was a bit weird. It also stank of whatever cleaning products they had used to clean it so we had to sleep with the windows open.
Stayed off peek season so pretty quiet but pretty good hostel Naples just isn't that great. Go Sorrento !!
This hostel is very friendly and welcoming, with very helpful staff. I loved the bar and the outside courtyard, and bar tender max is a champion :) close to the metro, safe location. Would stay again.
Staff were very nice and very accommodating. Facilities were clean and was overall a great hostel to stay at in Naples!
Very nice hostel I ever stay! Nice bar and staff.
This is probably the best hostel I stayed in Italy.
We stayed on a 8 mixed shared bathroom dorm. The room was very nice, large and well cleaned and lightened, the lockers were large enough, the staff was nice and so the breakfast. The only problem was the bathroom: it was a male-female 4-cabin-toilet with a 4-cabin-bath in the same area, with no separated place to changing clothes, and neither to hang them - when you finish ur bath and go out of the cabin, you simply can find someone washing his hand. It's "ok" for guys, but awful for girls.
This is one of the best hostels I've stayed at in Europe! very reasonable prices- and all the facilities you need-- fully stocked kitchen, laundry machines, hot showers, free breakfast, bar, social atmosphere, and friendly staff who will give you suggestions of what to do and how to get there.
