I stayed in a mixed dorm room and on the same floor there was a bathroom with toilets for females and a bathroom with toilets and showers for males. Not sure where the showers were located for females though. Possibly something that should be explained, because I was just under the impression there were not separate shower facilities for females.

The security at this hostel was good. The location on the other hand was not. I would not stay here again because of where it was located. I went to get dinner one night and I made it a block or two before I walked back. Single female back packing alone in Naples attempting to go out at night is not great, this neighbourhood definitely was not. There are other hostels in the centre of town that are still just as reasonably priced. The rooms were clean but the bathrooms were awful.

I only spent one night in La Controra, Naples. But it was a perfect night. The hostel is well indicated on the confirmation of booking so that you can find it easily. Then, there is always someone to welcome you. The staff was really nice and devoted (help concerning visits, food, party downtown). There's a nice bar, breakfast is included and you have the outside bar which is in a calm and green yard. The rooms and bathrooms are clean, quite recent, and I slept there like a log thks to the calm.

This must be one of the best hostels Ive ever been in. The contrast with the city of Naples is enormous, the hostel is like a small oasis in the center of the city. Very good and helpful staff, clean rooms with lockers and good shower system. I was very pleased with the service and with the

Amazing hostel, best I've been too! The guys on reception were great, and loved the live band Reggae night on the Friday. Really nice to have a bar available and met some fantastic people there. Hostelling as it's meant to be!

Close to Metro station and not to far from central areas and central train station. One of the staff in particular was very good and helpful and explained things very well in English and had many suggestions on what to see and do in Naples, the others were not as enthusiastic. Overall quiet clean especially the room, just need to work on shower doors a little

This hostel is a gem! It's got a great patio area to lounge, read and eat. The rooms were clean and big and the facilities were all great. The staff was very helpful and there are plenty of communal locations to cook, and hang out. It was about a ten minute walk from piazza cavour but still close to the old city.

The best hostel I've ever stayed in! Great location (slightly challenging to get to from the train station but close to historical center and safer), great staff (spoke exclusively Italian to us upon hearing that we are study abroad students and were super honest/helpful), very clean, great (cheap) bar, wonderful environment for hanging out, and overall a great value for very little money! Minor issues were that towels weren't free and breakfast was meh, but those weren't really impt to us

The hostel is very easy to find and the reception couldn't be more helpful for things like deciding what to do/where to go/places to eat etc. The bathrooms are very clean although sometimes the toilets didn't flush! Having a bar is a great place to meet new people and the dorms are a good size too. The beds are extremely comfortable and the lockers are huge which was great for putting everything in! Would definitely come back here :)

They have a bar, is very nice. they make concerts they fridays. also the hostel is very close to Metro station Salvator Rossa or 10 mins walking to piazza dante one of the main squares of naples, or 15 mins to piazza bellini the park that is the most important reunion point of the neapolitan nightlife.

I've been traveling for 3 months, this was the best hostel experience of all. The staff members (Mugurela, Dasha, Max, Vilma, etc.) are wonderful and have investment in the hostel/want to make it the best stay for you. The hostel itself is immaculate with nice rooms, a delightful patio and multiple common areas. STAY HERE.

Great Hostel for your money. Right next to the metro. A 10 min walk to old town and another 5 min walk to downtown. The atmosphere was the best part of this hostel....amazing people.
