Lovely. Riomaggiore isn't the prettiest of the five towns, but it's still very charming. Only downsides to the room we stayed in was the three flights of steep stairs (sucks if you're a smoker) and noise levels (you could hear what the people downstairs were talking about...). Very nice room in a good location. The staff do not speak much English, but once you check in (which is easily manageable with a little patience) it doesn't really matter. My husband and I loved the room. It was large and the air conditioner was a bonus. The bathroom was terrific. The hotel location is in the perfect location in the town.
