We were a group of 2 couples and 2 singles and all felt this was a great stay for 3 nights. All the rooms were very clean, airy and had plenty of room . Expect to climb stairs but that's cinque terre, an awesome location with fantastic trails to walk and soak up the views. Very helpful staff on arrival and we would have loved to have stayed longer. Easy to find the office from the railway station as per the web advice, great value for the experience thank you!

Great place to stay. Room was excellent. Jackimo and his beautiful wife and family were most helpful. My son and I had a wonderful time in Cinque Terra. Great village atmosphere day and night.

Very nice place, clean and spacious. The only gripe is lack of wifi - but there are many places like a cafe downstairs where you only need to buy a Euro coffee to get access. Hot water, air-con/heat - TV all working fine. Highly recommended.

135 stairs with big suitcases was not fun. Neither was waiting around for someone to show up at the office, several times, especially knowing that when no one was there the keys were left unattended. We had a kitchen but we didn't need it, we only used it for breakfast. The bells were pretty loud but I'm sure that's the same no matter where you are. Staying in Riomaggiore was great as we were able to walk to the next town for dinner.

We are a couple travelling and this was a perfect base for us to enjoy the CInque Terre - basically just a hotel room, very modern, comfortable bed, great location, great modern shower good pressure etc. No breakfast included but there's a great little ice-cream shop that will do omelettes etc if you want downstairs next door for about 5 euros.

Amazing View out to the ocean in a classic little Riomaggiore apartment. There was also a cute little kitchen in a separate room which was great for preparing our own meals (also an amazing view in here!)

The staff was incredibly nice and even asked us if we would like to have a room with a better view which we weren't expecting.

Great find in the middle of Riomaggiore. We had three rooms in one building, each on a separate level in the house. Some pipe and floor noise from above. Great value for money

The address of La Dolce Vita is actually the hostel's office. Our room ended up being a hidden apartment up a maze of about 7 flights of stairs. While the trek was pretty exhausting with the luggage, I guess it was a kind of unique experience living tucked away in the hills with the locals. The apartment was pretty barren but it was clean. It was a nice surprise to have access to a kitchen though the stove did not seem to work properly. It was fine though since we weren't planning on cooking.

I sent 3 emails regarding parking but had no reply. When we arrived at the hostel (before around 4pm) there was no one in the office, computer was on but no one, we waited for 15 mins, then we saw another address which was a shop close to the hostel, so my husband went to the shop, later a lady came to check us in, but she couldnt speak much English...room was ok for its price, just a bit pain to park and check in.

La dolce vita is a clean and nice stay. It was only a pitty that the picture on the net didn't correspond to the real place. Maybe more photos should be shown on the internet. The people are very friendly and helpfull. You can also leave your bags there after check out for a couple of hours, what is very convenient.

My husband and I were very pleased when we got to our room - it was large, clean and had a brilliant view. We also had access to a fully equipped kitchen which made us able to sample the regions pesto and pasta - brilliant! We arrived late, but the man working at the office was very friendly - took us up to our room (be ready for some stairs!). It was great location, great value for money and we would definately book there again.

The double room we had was absolutely amazing for the price!! (30 euro/ night) It was really, clean, huge, had a great bathroom and came with towels, and toiletries. You could also head to the office at any point to get more toilet paper, towels or anything you needed. We were late checking in and it was not a problem at all! The staff were extremely friendly and sweet. Right on the main street in Riomaggiore. Would definitely recommend them! Excellent value for money! Thank you La Dolce Vita!

The reason we ended up liking Riomaggiore most out of the five towns is probably because of La Dolce Vita Rooms. It provided a great home base, the staff were beyond nice (we broke a wine glass and they brought us two new gigantic ones free of charge!), and the town was beautiful. We highly recommend staying here!

We had an absolutely gorgeous room right in the heart of Riomaggiore, walking distance to the train station and easy access to the walks between the towns. Unfortunately for us we were in low season and had trouble finding places to eat as most were closed, the 2 restaurants we did find open were both fantastic and we had no complaints at all. Room was big and clean although we had to stock our own toilet paper! Very laid back Italian town and casual host, perfect place to relax and enjoy CT!
