Lovely staff, good facilities. Great place to stay after medellin carnage.
Hostel was really good and clean. Very comfy beds and hot showers! Although the hot water does run out so you may have to wait abit. Guest kitchen was great but could do with a new toastie maker. Location was close to the square! Make sure you play Tejo in Salento, it's the best!
Great hostel, we got a really friendly welcome from the lady who explained all things to do in Salento and you get this easy map with all the info. They do airport transfer too (too Armenia airport was 80 000 COP). Some of the bottom dorm beds are a bit bigger, so as a couple we could sleep together which is nice.
This place is really nice. The best part of it is the STAFF! they constantly cared for us, making us feel super comfortable... The hostel is kinda far from the main square (walking) but we did not care... They arranged every tour we wanted to take. We had a mishap when the administration forgot to fully charge one of the people staying in the room and after that person left, they told us we had to cover for him... Fortunately we contacted the person and he transferred the payment to the hostel.

My Spanish is below average and I communicated well with the staff. I stayed in the 6 bed dorm; 2 of the bottom beds are extra wide, there are small lockers with keys, and the ensuite bathroom is really nice and clean. The 6 bed dorm has a lot of value for a small cost increase over the larger dorm.
Good value for money hostel, only a few minutes from the centre. No English speaking staff, so a good opportunity to work on your Spanish! Plus Salento is a beautiful town, make the most and do some walks, and if you like your coffee make sure you visit one of the Finca's.
Great helpful staff, great location in town, nice atmosphere and good facilities. Definitely get the boots for hire when you go to the national park, and also try out the coffee talk at La Eliana (as recommended elsewhere on this feed- it was brilliant value and really interesing).
This hostel is right on the edge of town, but still within a short walking distance of everything. The staff were nice, friendly, and helpful at all times.
Staff are amazing. But unfortunately I got attack by ticks, unfortunately. But it was not bedbugs. Hopefully they will check and clean out it. Generally, nice hostel for traveler.
Loved this hostel! The owner is such a lovely person and the staff are so helpful and genuinely friendly, it's such a lovely experience staying here. It is slightly out of town but closer to the vineyards. The kitchen is good, there's lots of chill out space and you could easily stay here for days just chilling out drinking coffee - thanks so much for a lovely stay!!
La Floresta is a very beautiful place and the stuff so charming and helpful. I will definitely return to that excellent hostel when returning to Salento. Thanks a lot!
A great place to stay on the edge of town. Friendly staff, great cats, two kitchens, loads of hammocks and very comfortable beds. Good wifi too.
Staff are fantastic and really help out with all queries and problems. It's so relaxing sat in the hammocks with a book and a coffee
A relaxing hostel on the outskirts of town. Easy to meet people, and plenty of information given by the reception. If they were unsure about something they would find out for you. There are two kitchen, the one inside is quite small, but functional, requires patience if others are using but no huge problem.
Very clean and tidy! helpful staff, always with a smile. 5min from the center. Would definitely go back
Staff are very friendly and nice, but they don't speak much English. Only one computer, so you may need to struggle a bit. Bed are comfortable and clean. Hot shower. There's no one hanging out in the common area, so it's a bit hard to meet other travelers besides your roommates. The kitchen is not very clean, a lot of flies on the coffee machine. But you can always have coffee in other places since it's a coffee town.
This place is ok. Middle of the road. Not much atmosphere, but then Salento is a quiet place! The staff speak no English but are helpful. Its a 10 minute walk from town, not too far. When in Salento, go to La Eliana and ask for the coffee classes. I learnt far more here than on my actual coffee tour and it was much better value! 10k for about 2 1/2 hours learning about coffee, history, health, methods to prepare, Colombian coffee, and I wasn't bored once.
Nice hostel all u really need in Salento.
Two barhrooms is too few. Otherwise lovely.
