Only stayed 1 night but liked it a lot. It is easy to meet people to do the Cocoa Valley Hike or a Coffee Tour. The hostel supports you with a hand-drawn map which also has a lot of good tips / hints on it. Dorms are OK, but the top beds are missing a shelf and a powerplug.
Nice hostel, no breakfast but there is a nice place to go nearby. The location is good, you are close to the center and to the green.
My favorite hostel on this trip; great energy, professional staff and good facilities.
noisy and cold. the dorm we stayed in was really bright as the curtains offered no real shade and the light from the hall came straight through the glass part if the door. coupled with that most if the people here seem to have no clue how to act in a dorm (e.g. not sorting out your laundry in plastic bags at 7am ) bed was comfortable but pillow was thin and I found it very cold at night
Really nice hostel with a great hammock area. Great location too.
The hostel is really great. Staff was helpful and nice, rooms were clean, there were two kitchens where you could also cook and that's what almost everybody did. They offer you information about what to do in Salento and also discount coupons for different places where to eat. Amazing view from the hostel, great location, close to the main square. I recommand it to any backpacker.
Good hostel, good location with a very reasonable price.
Great hostel to chill out with nice mountain view. Staff is very helpful and friendly.
Nice hostel a little out of town but only 10 minutes walk to the central square. They were happy to store my bag in a large locker while I went to Cocora valley overnight. Two kitchens and a nice hammock area.
Clean, quiet and comfortable. Nice hammocks and can be social when thrre are people there.
very laid back place just ten minutes away from the central market square. extremely friendly staff who keep the facilities very clean and make every room smell like cinnamon :) the garden is very tranquil with stunning view of the mountains and invites travellers to relax for a while in the hammocks. definitely recommended!
Lovely hostel with great atmosphere, the staff go out of their way to help you. Kitchen was small but had what you needed. It's not in the main square but close enough to walk to and from.
okay stay. beds aren't too comfortable, little bit outside of the town, not much to do in the hostel. was very good price though. Coffee provided was delicious.
The place is only 10 min. away from the town centre. Spacious dorm with ensuite bathroom (both clean). Small but sturdy lockers in the dorm. Shower with hot water. The backyard is especially beautiful with a nice view. The kitchen is good too. Wifi is stable and reasonably fast. The staff is very helpful and can give you good and accurate information. I can recommend this place for 2 or 3 nights.
Nice little hostel with lots of hammocks to hang out in. Good laundry facilities- I got mine back in 4 hours. I can't give it a glowing review though as the showers are all freezing cold and some don't have actual shower heads so it's just a jet of icy water which isn't ideal. Also noticed a fair few dead insects around my dorm, one of which was on my bed when I arrived
A lovely hostel conveniently located to the town (a short walk over the bridge) and a scenic walk to the coffee farms. Great room with a fantastic garden (with hammocks). Very relaxing.

Really nice hostel with lots of space to cook. Lots of comfy hammocks. Good location very close to the plaza but not too close that you can hear any noise.
Super Nice Hostel in a calm área a bit far from the Main Street but the city is so small that is quite good to be in a quiet area. The receptionists are super nice and help us a lot with info about all we could do around Salento. The room that I was it was a little noise cause it was in front of a comun area so you can always ask to change to a quieter room, but it's a really good hostel with lots of green area, places to relax and good lockers.
Would strongly recommend this hostel in Salento. It is situated a couple of minutes from the main plaza and it is very tranquil. The view from the 'garden' area is incredible. The staff are very welcoming and helpful at all times. The hostel is very clean. Ideal if you want to relax away from the hustle and noise from Colombia's cities. The hostel have good links with locals tour companies which are the purpose for most people's visit!
