The building itself was locked but none of the dorm rooms or the actual hostel itself had locks. The bathroom water was cold and the place was not very clean at all. It was also fairly difficult to find and there were no signs on the door to the hostel.

- Reservation and Pre-Payment via Hostelworld was not accounted for (waste of money) - no Internet Access - no Drinks at Bar (empty) - 1 WC + Shower per Dorm

I was cheated! I reserved one night through hostelworld and paid my deposit. When I got there at 2am they had already rented out my bed in the shared room and there were no beds left for me to sleep in! Hostelworld reneged on their agreement with me!!!! Why should anyone "reserve" anything through Hostelworld if they are not go to actually reserve a bed for you?

I had a ball, the staff was fun & very helpful.,Ron & Melania especially. Myta the pancake maker & housegirl was fun too. The PC needed a new keyboard & there is no hot water, but you don't really need it. The open porch was great for watching the sunset & relaxing with others.

We arrived at 3am after a late flight from the states with a reservation. The guy at the desk had given away our room since he thought it was for the night before, even though we had clearly booked for the night of the 11th, leaving on the 12th. He was not very nice about it and we ended up in a super crowded dorm instead of a private room. If you're coming in late, definitely double check as the ppl there aren't too bright

Perfectly located in the "Cangrejo" district - very central with supermarkets and a bus station down the road. Staff are friendly and the hostel has a good atmosphere. They charge 10% "tax" on top of the announced price, though. My dorm was quite small - you could hardly walk between the bunk beds.

I stayed 1 night in this hostel. The district is safety and enough nice, there are a lot of shops and restaurant nearby. The hostel is on the 5th floor of the RINA building, is very quite and clean. Staff is friendly and good. The quality/price ratio is good. I can recommend this hostel for those who want to spend a few days in Panama City where most of the hostels are located in the Calidonia district which is quite dangerous at night

Very friendly staff, great location. Only downside is only one bathroom for entire hostel. Still worth visiting!

Nice enough place, but not very sociable (some of the staff didn't seem like they wanted to work there at all). Helpful with locations and very central. I don't think I would stay there again as I prefer a more social atmosphere, but if you want somewhere quiet where you can have some down time it would be great.

Not to bad, but as a solo traveller i was hoping that as the website had stated was that it was easy to find, no big banner just a small intercom to identify the hostel, which was not great at 11 at night as a female. WIFI available although no working computers so no internet if you were travelling without a computer. Weird bathrooms, no locks just curtains, (meat defrosting on the bench of the bathroom i used!!!) bed ok, sheets average. kind of quiet, not great for meeting new people
