The most welcoming hostel I´ve been to and with 28 beds, a tiny one so it´s easy to meet people. Not the cleanest and the breakfast is quite poor but you get the basic stuff.

Great hostel with an amazing feel about the place thanks to Juan, his sister and the rest of the staff and other guests. Would stay here again and next time for a longer amount of time!

Nice place with really friendly and helpful staff! I thought the girls bathrooms could use some work but otherwise a very charming, laid back place.

Very well run hostel - small, homy and very cosy. Juan makes sure everyone knows everyone. And the assados are almost like a family gathering!

It's a small hostel. The kitchen really smelled. Either it was the sewer or the fridges, but it was terrible. The fridges were not clean and the bathrooms were really old and did not look that clean. Very friendly staff/owners. They really do their best to make you feel at home and introduce you to everyone in the hostel.

Like other wrote before... "best hostel in the world" you can feel, that the owner Juan went around the world, too... so many little things make your life easier, when they are on the right place.... thanks for being my home, so far away from mine...

The lady who runs this place is incredibly nice and very helpful. The hostel is decent enough and there is a nice terrace on top but overall the place is a little worn, a bit crumby and not particularly clean.

Fantastic hostel. Juan (the owner) makes you feel at home and he even introduced me to every single guest upon arrival - something I've never had in my 6 months away. The whole staff are great fun and make sure you have a good stay. The hostel is really cool - as a solo traveler I highly recommend it because you can't help but meet people with the layout. There's also a roof terrace which is a cool place to hang out. Bedrooms are big and the beds are nice. Perfect location too. Stay here!

In the 12 years that I have been traveling, I have never felt more accepted in a hostel. Juan is the heart and soul of the place and he effortlessly gives it the charm and charisma that make La Lechuza such an exceptional place. If you go there, budget some extra days because I promise you: you will not want to leave! Marko, Slovenia

Juan, de eigenaar, probeert het iedereen naar zijn zin te maken, mensen bij elkaar te brengen en onthoud je naam! Kleinschalig en intiem hostel!

Since my arrival, the staff, specially the owner, were fantastic and always provided the help and information necessary. They organized great Barbacues to the guests creating a great interaction between them and very familiar atmosphere. Go there, you'll have a unforgettable stay and leave with more friends. To sumup: IT'S FANTASTIC!!!
