This is hands-down the best place to stay in Punta Del Este (and perhaps all of South America). Rodrigo and his family are wonderful hosts who provide a home-away-from-home, full breakfasts (toasted sandwiches, cereal, muffins, coffee, and tea), family style dinners, and great conversation. Rodrigo and his wife have travelled around the world and have really created the perfect atmosphere based on their own experiences. PC and Wifi for guests, and loads of tips for the area. Great party city!

Best ASADO in South America-and we've sampled a few. We stayed in a private room-which are separate rooms from the main building.Very peaceful. The hosts will answer any questions that you have. The hostel/guesthouse is a taxi journey from bus station & about 10 min walk to beach & shops. Nice walk.

Very inviting guesthouse and the hosts saw to all of our needs. Breakfast was fresh and abundant. Rodrigo hosted a Parilla for 15 guests in the garden! Location was great and easily saw all of town on the bikes. Close enough to the beach (Atlantic side) to stroll there on foot. A chocolate lab named Hush wanders about. Even if you don't like dogs, you'll like Hush. We stayed in the room upstairs. It was a simple, large bedroom with an ensuite bathroom & balcony. Great value for the price!

The hotel was very clean and the food was amazing. It is a short walk from the beach and there is a supermarket near by. The private room is amazing, very clean and very cute. I would definitely stay here again. The asado was also delicious and there was guacamole!!!!

This place was great!! The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room (6 person dorm) was big and clean and we even had our own little courtyard. The breakfast was awesome. The only thing that is at all not perfect about this place is its location. It's about a ten minute walk from the beach (not bad... actually a really pretty walk) and it's kind of far from the center of town, but if you are looking for a quiet beach getaway this is the place for you! Highly recommended.

Rodrigo was extremely helpful. The breakfast is really nice, definitely better than what you will find at other hostels and it's fresh. We rented bikes from Rodrigo which is cheaper than what you will find in the city. Thanks for the relaxing accommodations!
