This was so much more than we expected. Recent full renovation, modern bathrooms, very comfortable beds and super clean! The host, Fred, was simply the best host ever! The breakfast was fabulous, and he would gladly accommodate dietary restrictions. We only had two nights and Fred helped us plan our day to maximize our time in Paris. His metro directions were spot on and it was only a 5 minute walk to train llne.

We get lost sometimes but it s fine :D He can speak Portuguese and Spanish, there is no problem if your English is not good enough to communicate :). One more thing: If you don't wanna get lost, just remember all the thing Fred tells you.

Paris is a huge city, that s why we communicate with our guest before their arrival and send them , step by step, the best way to reach us ... read it or print it . PROS: room was excellent. Decor beautiful, beds comfortable and well set up. Bathroom clean. BnB Very secure and private. A few train stops from the main hub of Paris but it is in a good, safe area and a short walk to the train station. Fred was wonderful and very accommodating. Went the extra mile to provide for me as I have many food allergies. Also was very helpful in informing us about the Do's, Dont's, and the must sees of Paris. LOVED our stay and would highly recommend

La Maison Bacana is the BEST!Fred was amazing. He was friendly, informative and provided everything we needed to know about Paris. We chatted over breakfast (very good btw) every morning and he planned itineraries for us - with booklets, handdrawn maps etc.The guesthouse was unique and beautiful. The room was so cosy, warm and very homey. It was like staying at a friend's, very personal and we were well taken care of. Thanks Fred for the amazing stay! You're BACANA! Everything was excellent. Fred was really helpful. We all love Frank so much. And the facilities are really new and everywhere was clean. This place was the best hostel that i have ever been. Especially Maison Bacana is not like a real hostel. It is like a boutique hotel. If you are searching a place for spending peaceful times in Paris, you should choose La Maison Bacana without any doubts.

Excellent value for money and the staff really helps to make your stay comfy. The RER leaves you almost in front of the building.

Of all the places we stayed this was our favourite. Nice facilities, great food, and fantastic hosts. I really appreciated being sat down when we first arrived to review our plans for our stay in Paris. They knew all the sorts of things that I could never have found on the internet ("dont go to X on Monday, instead do it Tuesday evening" etc).

The stay here was fantastic! Fred and Mana were great hosts, providing us with useful day planning, tips to get around the city, and the best French breakfast we could ask for. I would stay here every time I go to Paris if it were possible. Thank you both!
