Our room was adorably decorated, spacious, clean & private. The garden is beautiful! Neighbourhood seems safe, the property is gated and is located 3 min walk away from the RER station vitry sur seine on line C. The station is3 stops away from st. michael/notre dame station on line c. We had a wonderful breakfast every morning with Fred or Mand helping us plan our day. They have great ideas & very useful suggestions. We did not want to leave!

Excellent place, could not possibly recommend more highly! Fred and Mand both went beyond all expectations to help us, and the room was really spacious and clean; far better than most hotel rooms. The breakfasts were excellent and it's a short train ride away from the center of the city, but on a direct line so no need to worry about transfers when heading in. I wish I could say everything I loved about it; but I'll settle for being extremely grateful for having been able to stay there.

The best place we've stayed at in Europe yet! We LOVED La Maison Bacana. Fred is the most hospitable person, and the Bed and Breakfast was adorable. He helped us plan out everything we wanted to do in the little time we had in Paris, including metro stops and all to make it easiest. The breakfast was delicious! Located right by a metro stop, this B&B is perfect. I felt at home in Paris because of La Maison Bacana and Fred! I will definitely stay there again if I go back. Highly recommend!

Me and my girlfriend stayed here for 4 nights and we couldn't be more pleased with our choice. The room was super spacious, warm and clean. Fred, the owner, is the best host in the world! He is so nice and funny, always giving the best tips to spend a great time in Paris, saving as many money as possible. And the breakfast, what a great french breakfast! Fred even prepared for us a breakfast to go in our last day since we checked out early to catch our flight. Un gran abrazo a Fred desde Chile!

Fred was extremely friendly and helpful,he is very passionate about paris.Upon arrival we sat down for coffee and he explained to us the best way to travel and where is best to go and on which days.Room was huge for two people with fridge, kettle, teas, coffee and big tv and ensuite.Continental Breakfast was served from 9 so no need to get up early, and Fred sat with us each day,to talk about our plans. He even prepared a picnic breakfast when we had to leave early.Lovely stay! Can't wait to go back!

Hmmm where should I start? Really friendly and helpful staff, nice cosy warm room, free tee and coffee in the breakfast room, so if you just want to read a bit or chat it'll be really nice to sit there for a while. Good location only 4 stations away from Norte dame. This hostel isn't like a hostel, not like a hotel either...it's like you stay at a friends place. Really nice experience. If youre searching for warm contact and unforgettable stay, you should definitely choose this hostel.

Best stay of my life!!! My sis and I stayed here for three nights and fell in love with the place. It is a home away from home. It's a 10 min metro ride from the center of Paris but the station is literally a block away from this B&B. Fred is a sweetheart who will save you time and money with his wonderful breakfasts and help with itinerary planning. This charming B&B has everything you need! Will definitely go back and would recommend it to anybody. Loved it! Can't say it enough!

Stayed there for four nights with my girlfriend and we were more than pleased! Fred is an excellent host, the rooms are super clean and beautifully decorated and the hostel is just a one minute walk from the nearest metro station. Fred, the owner, threw together a great French breakfast every morning and he was more than helpful in making sure that we got the most out of our stay. The place is simply great, skip the tourist rip-offs and go for this one instead, I will definitely return!!!

What a wonderful place this is! Fred, the proprietor is an absolute delight and so extremely helpful and kind. He knows exactly how to make his tired and often confused guests feel right at home and puts on a wonderful breakfast each morning. He is extremely knowledgeable about things to do and see in Paris and will spend as much time with you as you need, helping you decide how to spend your time. I would definitely return. A real Parisian gem! Thank you Fred!!

We loved our stay at La Maison Bacana!! When you see all those good ratings, it seems too good to be true, but it really exists! The room looks more like in a hotel, with a private bathroom, TV, a selection of DVDs connected to Paris etc. - and everything is really clean. And you feel rather like Fred's personal guest than just a customer. The place is close to a railway station, in zone 3, only late at night it might get a bit more difficult to get there.
