Killer location! Comfortable and cleanly feel, with a good sense of security. Staying there really did feel like being invited to spend the night at a family friend's place.

One of the best hostels I've ever been to! Everyone was super friendly, the place is really nice... Home away from home. Couldn't have been better!!

The hostel has such a cozy and homie atmosphere, with wooden floors that you can slide over with your socks, love it! I slept very sound and the ventilation from the open windows is nice. You feel like a kid in your attic. Couple downsides: the wifi often doesn't work, especially with apple. And a door for the living room would be nice for the private rooms that have to endure the loud voices at night. Cause there's no staff at night, it's up to the guests to be quiet, which doesn't always work!

Excellent hostel. everything was clean and the atmosphere of the place was wonderful. I came in very late and left very early but with the key code access and my name on the bed I was able to find my place quickly and quietly without disturbing others. I would absolutely recommend this place and stay there again in the future! Thanks!

This hostel is excellent for any young-minded traveler. If you enjoy the dormitory-style atmosphere found on most university campuses then this place is a great choice. The location is amazing, it is about a 5 minute walk to the nearest metro station that will bring you anywhere you need in Montreal and the price per night's stay destroys all competing lodging locations in the area. The staffing here are awesome, laid-back and accommodating - I'll be staying here again next trip to Montreal.

This was the second time we had stayed at this hostel and it is the best hostel we have ever stayed at. Really independent, lots of character, great location in the old town, lots of great people staying there. I highly recommend it.

Loved this place! Super cute and the perfect location. My only suggestion would be to add more than 2 toilets and 2 showers for the whole place. But I would stay here again in an instant!

This is by far and above the best hostel I have stayed in and it was cheap!! Cannot tell if it is mostly just because I love the chilled out Montreal vibe or if it is because this hostel really offered everything that I would like from a hostel plus more. The other guests were also very friendly and I was surprised how they managed to make a 22-bed room actually work. Cheers!

The hostel was beautiful and had lots of character and history, and the staff/owners were very friendly, welcoming, and helpful during our long stay. The facilities were limited (small shared bathrooms for the whole hostel) but for the cost of the stay it was well worth it. My only concern was the lack of air conditioning in our private room- we stayed here in late May when temperatures were skyrocketing to 30+ above out, and some mornings our room felt like a sauna. Please work on this!

We didn't get to see the owners but everything was fine. Great location but pretty noisy at night. At least on a Saturday night. Don't forget to bring earplugs!

The location was perfect. The place was very clean, and going in and out was flawless.

Earplugs are not enough if someone is snoring. Great use of space! Impressed with the trust given to hostelers. Great energy! Another bathroom would help, but where to put it? Loved the exposed beams and rock on the third floor of bunk beds

I can understand why so many people like this hostel. Not sure I'd enjoy staying in the upstairs super dorm but as it was having a private room was brilliant. Our window opened right out onto a bustling street of the old town. The place did lack toilets and showers (only 2 of each) but we never had to wait too long. Location is perfect and the common areas are pleasant and have plenty of stuff to keep you entertained. I'd stay here again.

The location is excellent. It is located right in the middle of the historic Montreal.

This is a very nice place to stay inn, is not expensive and very well located. People who work there is more that nice, they are really great persons. I would totally recommend it.

This hostel was fantastic! We were very impressed. It couldn't be in a better location in Old Montreal, the staff are very friendly and welcoming, and the place is very charming. Showers were great, security was awesome, and for what you pay, this place is a steal. I would highly recommend it!
