The only thing would be clearer instructions to get to the hostel if one was on the bus from the airport. I think you need to state that you need to get off at St Laurent station when on the 747. In found it very difficult and had to ask for directions while on the bus.

Great hostel because of the location and the size. VERY noisy on nights where people usually go out! Don't stay in the private rooms if you're looking for a quiet night - they're right next to the common areas. Would recommend boys/girls dorms. I didn't see the staff at all while I was there which seemed a bit strange. Apparently they do come everyday to clean but I think it could cause a problem at night depending on the crowd that's staying at the hostel. I didn't have any problems though.

Only pooossible remark i could have on this ever so great hostel is that it might be a bit expensive for solo travelers, but it is definitely worth the money. Great experience, best hostel i ever went to.

I recently stayed at La Maison du Patriote in Montreal and had THE best time ever!!! The hostel was very homy, with a cheerful staff and awesome residents. The location was ABSOLUTELY Amazing; right in the center of old montreal, with wonderful surrounding sights and lots of nightlife entertainment. Services were very convenient and laid back. I remember arriving at 4am, and being able to come in and chill in the lounge! If you are thinking of going to Montreal, I would absolutely recommend it!

This hostel is fantastic. I stayed in the 22 bed room, which is really just dived into smaller rooms. It was perfectly clean, had free sheets and towels, and had great staff. Oh and it was cheap, and in the centre of old Montreal. What more could I ask for.

Lovely Hostel, very nice atmosphere but very noisy. Ot ut of 3 nights, I barely slept 2 of them because people in the common room/kitchen were making noise and talking very loudly until 2am.

Near perfect hostel. The 22 bed dorm is seperated via curtains so you do get privacy. All guests were awesome, staff are friendly and easy going. Definatly stay here if in Montreal, great value.

This hostel is in a great locations and the space is very nice. The staff are friendly and helpful and there is a nice relaxed atmosphere. The only qualm I had was that the first floor of the hostel had a somewhat unpleasant smell. Otherwise great hostel and had a great stay. Maybe just get some air freshener?

Pleasant experience overall!! Very friendly professional staffs & great location. This is the third hostel I've stayed at in eastern Canada and, by far, the best! The place was clean, the bathroom and kitchen were clean, never had to wait for a shower. For $3 you can use washer and dryer. Plenty of space, everyone has enough room to stow our bag and don't have to scoot sideways between the bunks. I will definitely be back and would recommend the place to family and friends.
