La Maison du Patriote was so adorable. Loved the way it was decorated. Very warm and comfortable. The staff were fantastic and made everything so easy and user friendly. I would definitely stay there again.

Really cool hostel, I got to meet many people that were my age from all over the world. Had a very open atmosphere. The vibe of the hostel for the hostel was very chill and clean. Kinda like an IKEA demonstration room. The staff was very helpful in pointing me to where the good bars, liquor stores, and general attractions were at. My only complaint was that the hot water heater broke during my stay but now they have a brand new heater so everything should be good. This place is a true treasure.

It was just an amazing experience for me and my friend. We had a great time in there. It's cozy, warm, like home and there's a kawaii owner!!

Really friendly helpful staff, instantly felt like home. Just a really nice atmosphere in general, would definitely come back, and recommend to friends.

Great location. The property had inadequate facilities - only 2 showers (only one working for first couple days) and only 2 toilets. if property is full approx 35 people. Kitchen missing a number of things - Jam jars as the glass to drink out of...not enough plates etc... all a bit Junky - also not that clean in kitchen. A tad overpriced but location is superb.

one shower for the lot of us is not sufficient. I would have preferred larger lockers to fit my things. But all in all, I loved it!!!

It seemed as if everything had been thought of here. They had all the little comforts of home, including a great collection of musical equipment. The whole place really said, 'thoughtfully and lovingly made'.

Great people (staff + guests), good locations and a cute little hostel altogether. 22 persons dorm sometimes a bit restless at night but who needs sleep when you're young! Highly recommended.

We had a fantastic experience here everyone was very friendly and you get your personal space as well! Met some really great people to :) well worth a recommendation !

very nice place. very homely. heater was always on so it was warm enough. only one bathroom though (the other one was under repair) so taking a shower could be a hassle.

Don't be put off by the sound of a 22 bed dorm as its probably the most privacy I've had in hostels so far! They have curtains round every bed to ensure absolute privacy it was great! A really good hostel :)

Amazing staff who were always very friendly. The hostel was an old house that had been converted into a beautiful place for travellers to stay. So well done and we appreciated coming back to it each night. Thankyou so much!

I've stayed in lots of hostels and this was one of the best- clean, spacious, conscious of noise & lights late at night, fun & interesting people (I know this isn't the owner’s doing, but still), great kitchen & common room, great location...I would recommend it to anyone! Of course, if I went there over spring break and it was overrun with 19 year old Americans looking to get wasted, I wouldn't have liked it. But, I had a great experience as a 29 year old who has traveled a lot.

Located right smack in Old Montreal, extremely accessible & convenient. 22-bed dorm is set up well, lots of privacy with curtains for every bunk bed. Showers and bathrooms are very clean and well-maintained, never had issues with queuing up. Cosy environment, and you can leave or return to the hostel anytime you want using your main entrance passcode. Checking out was very easy too, no administrative procedures required - just pack and go. Great stay, will definitely come back again.

I was so happy that I chose to stay here. It was a quick walk to the metro and it is in an area of Montreal that is reminds you of France. In regards to the mildew that is present in the showers, they did install a humidity regulator in each shower. I can't complain I loved my stay with them and the staff is sooooo friendly.
