The female dorm was a little cramped and there were only 2 toilets and 2 showers for the whole hostel. But, the place was incredibly clean and convenient, the kitchen and common area were lovely and relaxing, with computers and internet access also. The hostel is set up with everything you could need and I enjoyed my stay, so I would definitely recommend it to anyone.

No breakfast, no tea, no coffee, and a charge for the bed sheets. Even with all they don’t provide it is a good hostel. The staff are gone when the sun sets and it’s up to the guest to keep the place from burning down during the nice.

Really great hostel, tons of fun helpful staff and information posted around the hostel, free wifi and internet. Met some excellent people there. Felt a little weird taking my shoes off at the door but it was fine. The 22 bedroom area was really nice, a lot better than the usual large bedrooms in hostels, had separating curtains, gave some privacy.

Mold in the showers and Dirty frige - if you fixed that I wouldn't have anything to complain about. But the smell of mold when you're taking a shower is pretty bad... and a clean frige, not so much to ask for. Fabulous staff !!!!

I really loved the character and atmosphere of this hostel. Our room was very spacious, and although it faced the road the road, was relatively quiet (Sunday night though). I also thought the security system ingenious and efficient. It was clean and well-equipped, and in a magnificent position in the centre of Vieux Montreal. The only drawback was very squeaky floorboards! Overall, Very happy.

Ive stayed in a lot of hostels around the world, but this is probably the best hostel I've ever stayed in. Location is more than amazing, in the middle of the best neighborhood in the city.. I cant wait to go back again, and oh Naima ( the owner ) has a great voice.. keep it up..

Very cute, with lots of character. Was staying in the 20 bed dorm. Really isn't as bad as it sounds, really good amount of privacy for the circumstance and people are respectful of other's need for sleep (I was there for a conference, out the door by 6h30 and in bed sleeping by 22h30 - no issues with noise/lights). 2 showers + 2 toilettes, but, never had an issue in getting a shower when I wanted (never even had to wait). Location is ideal. Staff good at accommodating request even if not on site

Very lovely hostel. Felt like I was coming home at the end of the day. Very cozy. The internet was a bit fickle and only worked when it felt like it, but that could be the internet provider not the hostel. The staff was great and very accommodating. Lovely "old Montreal" feel to the building. Great location in Old Montreal, right near the water and lots of museums.

AMAZING hostel! Wonderful ambiance, hot showers, big kitchen, computer, amazing location, clean, amazing security (you need a code to get in.) I stayed in the 22-bed dorm, and I didn't believe what people said about it being surprisingly private. I was pleasantly surprised! Will definitely be coming back to this gem when I return to Montreal!

Small and we packed into to bunk room like sardines in a can, but... this hostel "works". The owners cultivate a friendly but respectful attitude amongst their guests that means the sleeping area is quiet and the kitchen and lounge functioal and comfy. Probably my second favorite hostel ever.
