Wonderful stay! I would recommend this hostel to anybody.

The wifi was a little sketchy but overall was an awesome place to stay. Perfect location and very friendly staff, it was like being in a blanket fort which was neat. No complaints!!

As soon as I stepped through the front door I IMMEDIATELY felt at home and at ease which is very rare when traveling/hosteling abroad even in the most top notch facilities. I made friends, I shared experiences, I genuinely learned a lot about the place I was visiting. It was a truly remarkable experience and I can't WAIT to go back!

I enjoyed my stay even though I only slept one night at the Maison du Patriote. I liked the cosy athmosphere and the decoration !

The hostel was very nice. The private rooms where done up great. Nicer then some B&Bs that I have been to. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Kitchen was clean with everything you would need to make a meal. Don't shower late in the morning the hot water is in limited supply and the foyer smelt like dirty feet from all the winter boots. Great place other wise. I had a great time. Would gladly go back.

just two showers and two toilets for the hole hostel....and as well just a small kitchen...

This hostel was the best one I have ever stayed in! It was excellent and I would highly reccommend it to other young people looking for more than just a place to sleep- the hostel is a great place to meet people!

Very loud & dirty place. By far too expensive for what you get. Never again. Sorry.

Excellent experience for New Years. Everyone was in great spirits and couldn't have asked for more from our stay. Wonderful staff, wonderful location, overall A+.

Great experience and one of the best hostels I have stayed in

Loved it here! Left and came back again and it felt like coming back to my family. Small and intimate setting. The dorms are fine with enough privacy but if you prefer more I'll recommend the male/female only dorms as this is smaller and quieter. Great setting.

Great hostel with a fun environment and lots of cool people staying there. The only downside is that with so many people and only 2 showers, you'll end up with a cold shower if you aren't one of the first ones up in the morning. But still a fantastic place to stay that is very well-organized with friendly staff!

Facilities were clean and the staff was friendly and responsive, but their "Quiet By 11pm" rule doesn't hold true. If you're at the hostel to meet new people, everyone was friendly and seemed to get along with everyone else. If you're a bit quieter (like me), then the hostel might be too loud at night.

So homey n very clean that I even didn't think abt to wear my slippers inside hostel. Free washing & dryer with powder to use. Believe it or not? You won't find any other hostel better than this feel. Even though, you have been to over a hundred places all over the world like me!

Fantastic hostel right in the heart of Old Town. Really friendly staff and the 22 bed dorm is actually fine - it's all curtained off so it feels pretty private. Highly recommend this hostel. :)

Second visit, great place to stay, only complaint is that other people staying were fairly loud well After 11 o clock. While I stay up late myself anyway, i can see where this would be a problem for someone That may need to wake up early because the walls are pretty thin. I love this place though, and would gladly stay any Time i visit Montreal.

I had a great stay at this charming hostel. Definitely one of the best hostels in the world that I have stayed in!

This hostel is amazing and so unique! One feels at home directly and everything is so easy!

This is one of the nicest hostels I've ever stayed. The only complain I have is about security at night. All the staff was very kind and efficient, but I thought it would be nice to have someone at least till midnight to make sure everything is ok. I'm not picky but I was a little bit sick and the quiet time (23h) was rarely respected. Besides that detail, the hostel is great. Location excellent, atmosphere vas very positive, cleanliness good too... I recommend it!
