There is really nothing to complain about if you look at the prices and what you get for it. The cleaning woman is around the whole day, the staff organizes you everything, the area around the pool is great! only bad thing was that we got the only dorm without a.c. just ventilators, so some nights were a bit uncomfortable.

Very social, well maintained hostel a bit on the edge of town. The walk to the beach is about 7 minutes down an unpaved road. The hostel itself is beautiful with a large and very nice swimming pool in the middle. Rooms have A/C but it only goes on from 10 - 7. The A/C in our room worked very well! Taganga is HOT... splurge and take a room w/ A/C!

Great Place! Pros: swimming pool, great atmosphere, bar and resturant, pool table, great staff that speak english, clean and tidy. Cons: location far from beach, a little pricey.

Good beds, a swimming pool and a nice bar area. Food from the restaurant is okay. There aren't any lockers for valuables. The bar is good fun at the weekend and the girl who runs it really helps set a party mood. But they also insist on playing the music stupidly loud even on a Monday night when there are two people in the bar drinking. Non a/c rooms get hot at night, but they've at least tried to resolve that by putting plenty of fans in the room.

The pool is really nice! Comes in really handy since it soo hot here. Resturant allright, BF allrigt for the price as well. We had a plesent stay. A few extra nice chairs around the pool would not hurt but not really a problem. The private room we had a bit too dark, could not really let any light in without opem the whole room but this as well was not really any problem. Really nice that we could leave our stuff wile going to the national park!

Very nice hostel with a good clean pool to relax and an excellent restaurant. Sometimes gets very loud during the night, when people play pool until very late.

Pool is great with the hot temperatures in taganga. Kitchen facilities and common areas lovely. Food in the restaurant is good too. Reception staff are really helpful. Only complaint is the loud obnoxious music in the bar, seems a little unnecessary at 5pm on a quiet monday

Neighborhood looks a bit sketchy at first, but the hostel itself totally makes up for it

It's easily one of the best chill hostels I've been too with an awesome pool modern facilities, aircon, great vibe with awesome bar and pool table. A special mention to the bartender Jennifer who makes AMAZING cocktails ( get the banana one hint hint ) and she makes that bar fun with great energy and personality!! Such a good bartender I would hire her if I owned a bar!!

The hostel is pretty, the food and the chef are excellent, the manager is very cool and the maids are very nice girls. The morning Dj has some issue because the music in the mornig was the most weird and boring, but in the afternoon and in the night, the bartenders and the Dj's are great. The pool is cleaned every morning, but it's always opaque.

I have to say I know nothing about Taganga because of this hostel. I COULDN'T GET OUT FROM THERE! Gina in the reception, Giacomo in the kitchen, Adam at the bar...just thank you a lot guys. A 5 star hostel. You won't regret.

A few top tips: - staff are fantastic. The receptionists practically booked our entire trip for us and speak good English. - The chef makes amazing, reasonably priced (£5-7 for a main), food. Think handmade gnnochi followed by a coco semifreddo. - hostel is very social. We met loads of good people. Drinks range from cheap (£1 for beer) to pricey (£5 cocktails). - only slight downside is that the bar plays very loud, often appalling, music at all times of the day. Bring ear plugs!

The staff were excellent here, Angel and Jennifer in particular. Lovely swimming pool and common area. Best pool table in South America!
