The Miniera is located where once were the administrative offices of the most important European copper mine of the 19th century. So important as to give its name to one of the major mining indu-stry: Montecatini which later became Montedison. Today, this mine is an archaeo-logical site of international interest.
The apartments/rooms at the Miniera have been restructured so to maintain as many of the original architectural elements.
On the exterior, a romantic garden surrounded by old cypresses, plunged in oak and pinewoods.
