We're a few minutes from Hacienda Pinilla /JWMarriott

FROM LIBERIA: exit the airport towards Route 21 and turn righ towards the town of Guardia, Comunidad and Filadelfia. Continue until you reach Belen. Pass the bridge and turn rigth at the Total Gas station onto Route 155 towards the town of Villareal, continue and arrive to Hernández, turn right----> once you get to the intersection of Hacienda Pinilla entrance, continue until San José de Pinilla (also known as Pinilla), at the soccer field, turn left, drive 700 mts until the intersection (you'll see the signs of Altos de Pinilla), turn right 3 kms towards the mountain, you will see our signs. Approx Time: 1 hour

FROM TAMARINDO: go throught Villareal, follow the Hacienda Pinilla/Playa Avellana signs,----> Hernández turn right---->arrive to San José de Pinilla (also known as Pinilla), turn left, drive 700 mts until the intersection of Canopy Pinilla (you'll see the signs of Altos de Pinilla), turn right 3 kms towards the mountain, you will see our signs. Approx Time: 15-20mins

From SAN JOSE: Take the Internamericana Norte+North ----> Puente de la Amistad ----> Nicoya ---->Santa Cruz ----> Hernández turn left---->follow the signs of Hacienda Pinilla/Playa Avellana ----> arrive to San José de Pinilla (also known as Pinilla), turn left, drive 700 mts until the intersection (you'll see the signs of Altos de Pinilla), turn right 3 kms towards the mountain, you will see our signs. Approx Time: 4 hours

To come here as well as to get to a lot of the places you'll want to go you will need a 4 wheel drive (makes travel more comfortable than a regular car). We're happy to assist you with this. We can usually get a more favorable deal when working with local companies. We'll also book any activities and excursions for you.

Instead of driving, you can fly with a local airline to Tamarindo airport. From there you can rent a car or we can arrange transportation by taxi to the hotel. The drive takes 20 minutes and the cost is about $30.
