La Pace Hostel Reviews

I like this hostel. it is close to night market and the staff is also kindhearted.

The hostel is very unique, with nice paintings hanging around. However it can be very scary at night! You can have the whole block of building by yourself even if you only get a room. When we were staying there, the staircase light was not functioning! It was so dark. However the facilities provided are good. The hostel provide shampoo, conditioner, washing machine and powder. The only bad point is that a bit scary. Recommended for a large groups. And buses cannot reach the hostel.

The place (apartment) is nice and the lady s nice but I just got a creepy feeling about the whole place. I was the only one there to start off with, luckily another girl came to stay otherwise I would have change hostels. its very quiet and if theres no other people it feels to quiet, bordeline to scary.. Could not stop thinking about horror movies, left the next day !! 15min walk from ding dong bus station, close to busy main street.

Very kind and Warm place ! If i visit Taitung again (hope that! it's so beautiful and funny town), i will stay this hostel again. facilities are not new but so clean and neat. And the atmosphere of hostel is fantastic. full of art and inspiration ( u can see at living room, kitchen even toilet) Actually when i was there, it's holiday season in Taiwan. so almost every hostel was full also La pace. but with owners care n kindness, I could stay one more day in La Pace. very thankful experience.

A highly accessible hostel located near the bus terminals. Suitable for those neither driving or cycling travellers. A little bit noisy at night because it is near some residence.
