The staff was not too eager to help (e.g. forgot that I have breakfast included, didn't have any map of the city, didn't give concrete enough information when asked). The facilities are in a rather poor state: the door handle just fell off for example.

Perfectly located in SUPER CENTRAL Venice this hostel gives you what you need for a pleasant stay in Venice. The staff was at sometimes a bit unhelpful but not at all something that bothers you that much.

The bathroom smelt and was always in use as there were two dorms sharing it. The room was dusty and while the linen was clean, it wasn't worth the money we paid.

There was nowhere for you to lock any of your important items up, so you had to get acquainted with your hostel-mates pretty quickly. The wifi only works in a particular room, but that actually gave us all a reason to meet and hangout! The rooms were clean for such an old building..the bathrooms aren't gross but they aren't brand new. Venice is a very historical town, and this hostel gives you a taste. You CANT BEAT the LOCATION. Right in the middle of markets and bustling Venezian life. A- :)

Make sure to ask about the breakfast. They will give you a coupon for the restaurant next door.

This hostel is located just a 2 minute walk from an amazing seafood market, but this hostel has a no seafood rule. The kitchen is only open a few hours a day and not for lunch at all. There was a no alcohol in the rooms sign posted, so our group took some beer in to the kitchen / patio are and were kicked out of the hostel and told to come back when we had no drinks. So in affect a no alcohol rule. This place also did not wash all of the blankets between guests.

Everything was great except for the bed bugs and ticks in Room 5 on the top floor. They got us good.

We got bed bugs on our first night here. We were very upset and wanted to leave however the staff were very accommodating and updates us to a private room at no extra cost that was very clean and bed bug free.

Wifi was only available at or near common areas. There was some room assignment weirdness that was eventually straightened out, but it was a hassle. Also, no hot water in shared bath meant a very perfunctory shower, which after a long sweaty day of walking was unfortunate.

This hostel is perfectly located in Venice. It is not to far from the train station, Rialto Bridge or Piazza San Marco. The staff were very helpful in telling up how to get around and about different restaurants to look into. Overall a great place to stay at a fair price on the island of Vines.

Heater in room was broken so it was on full heat the whole time. Really annoying as it was right next to the bed. There was one bathroom and it was really dirty. No towels supplied.the main front door was broken and was really hard to open. Stafff was never there and had to be called. No inteenet in rooms. Was 15euro a night and to be honest I would not pay anymore. Only recomend if you want a place to stay and are not going to spend any time there other than sleeping.

You can go to Rialto in 10 minutes. They give a breakfast but it's not normal one. Just instant breads and cookies only. You can cook your meal but facility is poor.
