Comparing to the different hostels I\'ve experienced in my life this was really poor and to much expensive for the service.

The wifi is an ongoing problem they are trying hard to solve with mixed success. Overall the hostel was clean and spacious but basic. The outdoor terrace is lovely and sunny but the common room is a bit drab. I was on the top floor where I never queued for the bathroom but stairs might be an issue for some. It was very hard to find at first as there is only a small sign on the door - don't be afraid to ask Venetians to Calle dei Boteri as they are very friendly.

The hostels is extremely well located in the center of Venice. Instructions to get here are very easy to follow and upon arrival the staff is very helpful with any questions you may have. They provide free breakfast, which is really appreciated it in such expensive city It has a very nice kitchen, which is great to save some money and cook at home. The patio area is gorgeous and is a great place to spend the afternoon with some new friends and a few beers. The only two things I have to say, as feedback, is

El hostal está muy céntrico y fácil de llegar. La habitación muy limpia y cómoda. Los chicos de la recepción son muy amables.

Favio was very nice and helpfull from the begining but the hostel was very expensive for the services included. The room very poor and no furnished at all, just beds and a desk! No wifi apart from the last day and just at the recepcion area! The building is very very old from the outside and inside, and a little bit dirty!! The toilet and showers are ok, but there is just 2 for the whole building! Breakfast allright!! And Favio all smily and happy to help!!!!

It looked cramped as we passed through the narrow streets of Venice to reach this hostel, but once we were inside, it was spacious and cozy. The staff was extremely friendly, the atmosphere in the street around the hostel was fantastic. Close to Rialto bridge and market, the location is fabulous. Only I could not understand, why the rooms could not have a curtain? A simple thing like this will add much value to the room. A pleasant stay, with friendly Italian hospitality.

Towels are not included, they don't have hair dryer and there's no internet access. The hostel is very noisy as there are lots of restaurants around. The only good thing about the hostel is the location. Very very good!

I dislike the fact that oen the website, did not mention anything about cash only, 1.5euro tax and no wi-fi in the room. their common room was 2 flights down and I was not even able to pick up the wi-fi while I was there. window had no screens so I was bitten by bugs all over the arm and feet, people were loudly hanging out on the street till 3am, also only saggy cots, no bed and very warm, no ventilation.

Upon entering it feels a little sketchy on the old and dark stairwell up to the reception. I was in a 4 bed room on the top floor which was comfortable enough - felt like I was in a cottage with the wooden rafters above. It is a fairly minimal facility (no breakfast or anything), so I'd consider it as a place to sleep only. There is a kitchen area, and a common room but it is essentially unfurnished.

+ Superb location just steps from Ca d'oro and the Fish Market next to the Rialto bridge + Friendly service, free and secure luggage storage + very clean bathrooms and rooms - choice and quality of breakfast poor (I didn't expect it to be better so no disappointment here) - no wifi

The staff was very accommodating and willing to help. The steps are old and slippery so be careful. The room was nice, a little loud at night because of the popular location. Great location. GREAT GREAT GREAT! Minutes from all the sites, food and shopping as well as a quick water ride from the train station or the people mover. The breakfast is.......lite. The milk is not cold and selection is minimal.

You definitely get what you pay for. Trying to find it at night is very difficult as there is not identification on the building. It is also very loud at night until around 2am, so I hope you don't like getting sleep. With that being said, the staff was very friendly and accommodating.

The location was very good...right in the cejter of Venice. However, almost everything about the hostel was miserable. There was a bar right below it that was extremely loud. The noise continued until 5am and started again at 7am. No one in my room was able to sleep. Also the hostel was very dirty. There were bed bugs, the bathrooms were dirty. We ended up leaving early because we couldn't sleep and had bed bugs. They did give us our money back for the last night.

the location of the hostel is perfect! It is in Venice itself, close to everything in the city. Attitude to people staying in was really good, stuff was helpful and very kind to let us check in earlier as we were extremely tired after night train. I liked staying there, although it could be cleaner. breakfast was nice.

This hostel was a tremendous dissapoint, I recommend to anyone to NOT stay here. The place was not well maintained, the facilities were poor, the staff was extremely rude and not helpful. We had to make a complaint about a couple staying in the dorm we were staying in and the staff barely dealt with the problem. In addition, the wifi that was promised in the ad was unavailable and we unknowingly had to pay cash upfront for our room. For the price we payed, the hostel was a very poor value.

Great Location and easy to find. Staff are very friendly. Didnt manage to try the breakfast as the kitchen was always full of other guests in the morning and wasnt clear what was included for breakfast and what was other guests food. Only disappointment was the bed bugs that me & my mates were bitten by.

Italy, like Europe, is expensive, and so it this hostel for what you get. This hostel is very basic, but clean. Location is excellent!. You are minutes away from the water taxi and active plaza and sites. I didn't spend much time in the hostel except to shower and sleep so I didnt have that much interaction with staff/guests. But I would stay here again if I ever venture back to Venice. Be advised: There are NO computers at the hostel, but the staff let me use their laptop.

not a bad hostel. drains need to be fixed in the showers so they dont flood. they really need to get wi-fi or dont say that they have it. It seems to be what you are going to get for the price in venice!
