La Playa Hostel is situated in a beautiful Colonial House made 100 years a go with large social spaces and entertainment areas such as game room, the fireplace, Garden, backyard and TV room. In our Hostel we specialize in entertainment options and offering a complete travel experience for our visitors can fully enjoy all that Bogota has to offer.
In our Hostel we have a great travel experience around the world and working in other hostels which allows us to anticipate all the needs of individual travelers. We are constantly trained in the languages just like English, Portuguese, Italian and Spanish to make guests feel at home.
One of the most important things of La Playa is the large and diverse range of entertainment offerings to Bogota, as through our Fan Page on Facebook and Twitter channel constantly inform our guests about daily activities to do in Bogota.
We offer ecological travels, metropolitan parks, sightseeing, entertainment and Pubs, biking, nature walks, tours gastronomic trips to outdoor theater, rides on motorcycles, bungee extreme adventures, horseback riding and much more than just a Hostel.

The staff were very friendly, though only one spoke any English (this is not a complaint, more of a comment). When I was visiting, the majority of guests were also Spanish-speaking, so I had very few interactions with other guests. However, the rooms were very clean and there is a well-stocked kitchen at the disposal of guests. It's an easy ride into town, and I found that it was an easy walk back (about 40 minutes).
