Although we only stayed for a half day due to travelling commitments, I cannot speak highly enough of our time here. Olga, the owner, was wonderful in helping us arrange things for us. Nothing was too much trouble for her or the other person working there (whose name I have forgotten). Overall, a clean and comfortable stay with an excellent host.

The lady owner treated you like you were family. Very nice place. There was a variety of food you could have for breakfast and you could have dinner with them as well.

I stayed just one night and did not do much except planning my trip to Belize so I did not care about the location. Still, I could see the hostel was clean and tidy, the living room was perfect to chill with comfortable sofas and cable TV. Breakfast is simple but at least provided. The owner is a helpful friendly woman who made a reservation for the boat to Caye Caulker. Let's give Chetumal a few more years and it might be an interesting city for tourists.

The location of this hostel requires a taxi to reach the bus station and a long hike to reach the downtown. Chetumal is not a tourist town, but that is part of the value of visiting there. The owner was delightfully friendly and helpful.

The lady who runs this hostel is great, really helpful and looks after you really well! The only hostel to choose if staying in chetumal. Perfect if you need a place to stay on the way to Belize. A very small hostel, and slightly noisy at night from traffic. But the lady running it beats all and will help you organise your onward journey or taxis
