Free beer and sangría from 21h to 22h due to the daily Pub Crawl (no strings attached). Really well located near to Atocha, Sol and the most importants museums in Madrid.

A good youth hostel that is great value. A friendly staff and a very good atmosphere overall. Would definitely book with La Posada de Huertas again.

Great location, good price, although I think we had bed bugs, kept waking up with itchy bumps. Great staff and lots of activities with other hostels. Met alot of people that way

The WiFi could be improved so it's possible to use in the bedrooms but otherwise the hostel was great, staff were friendly and helpful!

I really enjoyed my stay and thought that the staff were very friendly! They were particularly helpful whenever as possible as well. Would certainly recommend the place to others, as it is in a great location.

Great location! My favorite restaurant was literally around the corner and an awesome ice cream shop right up the street. The staff was incredibly friendly and there were lockers in the rooms which was great. As a lone traveler, it was incredibly accommodating - there were activities to do with the group, but also many opportunities for solo trips around the city. Would recommend.

REALLY LOVED LA POSADA DE HUERTAS!!! Had stayed for 2 nights in the 12 mixed dorms. Just awesome, extremely clean toilettes, electronic lockers, very helpful staff, free sangria and beer from 21 to 22 PM, excelent kitchen. 100% recommended :) ! Will go back again before my departure to Buenos Aires!

Excellent location near everything. I even got a room to myself, more than paid for. Though all of staff weren't always volunteering help, nights were noisy because of other guests in the hallway and breakfast was minimal - but with the programs available by networking with other hostels, I had a great vacation!

I spent 2 nights there and must say I was very satisfied. I ordered 10 beds room and was given 8 beds one. Room is standard hostel room of this type. Toilets and showers clean, soap and even paper towels provided. Good breakfest (toastes, butter, jam, cornflakes, milk, cocoa, tea, juice, apple, orange) and kitchen where you can cook your meals. Excellent location, wi-fi and 3 computers available for the internet. They print your boarding pass for free. I can only recommend.

Staff was friendly at first, but when we hit a snag in the payment because one of our people didn't show up, they were very rude even though we were completely willing to pay for the nights we had reserved for that person anyway. Had to kill a couple cockroaches and the security at the front door was minimal (they had to buzz you in, but they let anyone in without proof that they were actually staying at the hostel). Included breakfast was nice, great location.

Excellent hostel with a great atmosphere. The staff was helpful. They have an hour with free sangria and beer every night, which was awesome. The location is also ideal.

The bathrooms were clean, the rooms were filthy and smelly, they had blankets, although they were groty. The lockers were huge, and security good, but they open the door for whoever. The kitchen and common areas were nasty It was cheap with a good location, helpful staff.

I had a really good stay at this hostel. The staff were very helpful about day trips and directions. They gave good recommendations of places to eat and the the location was excellent for most parts of the city. The free Sangria and beer is a good way for you to meet fellow travellers and I really found that this place had a friendly atmosphere. The only issues are lack of internet outside the reception and sometimes it was hard to have a hot shower. Also, the common areas close at 11.30 :(

Staff wasn't the friendliest I've had, they weren't very excited about you staying there. The cleanliness of the place wasn't amazing either, it just lacked overall character with no real common hangout rom to meet people. Best advice is go on the free walking tour that was the best part and had a great guide.
