I spent 2 nights there and must say I was very satisfied. I ordered 10 beds room and was given 8 beds one. Room is standard hostel room of this type. Toilets and showers clean, soap and even paper towels provided. Good breakfest (toastes, butter, jam, cornflakes, milk, cocoa, tea, juice, apple, orange) and kitchen where you can cook your meals. Excellent location, wi-fi and 3 computers available for the internet. They print your boarding pass for free. I can only recommend.

Staff was friendly at first, but when we hit a snag in the payment because one of our people didn't show up, they were very rude even though we were completely willing to pay for the nights we had reserved for that person anyway. Had to kill a couple cockroaches and the security at the front door was minimal (they had to buzz you in, but they let anyone in without proof that they were actually staying at the hostel). Included breakfast was nice, great location.

Excellent hostel with a great atmosphere. The staff was helpful. They have an hour with free sangria and beer every night, which was awesome. The location is also ideal.

The bathrooms were clean, the rooms were filthy and smelly, they had blankets, although they were groty. The lockers were huge, and security good, but they open the door for whoever. The kitchen and common areas were nasty It was cheap with a good location, helpful staff.

I had a really good stay at this hostel. The staff were very helpful about day trips and directions. They gave good recommendations of places to eat and the the location was excellent for most parts of the city. The free Sangria and beer is a good way for you to meet fellow travellers and I really found that this place had a friendly atmosphere. The only issues are lack of internet outside the reception and sometimes it was hard to have a hot shower. Also, the common areas close at 11.30 :(

Staff wasn't the friendliest I've had, they weren't very excited about you staying there. The cleanliness of the place wasn't amazing either, it just lacked overall character with no real common hangout rom to meet people. Best advice is go on the free walking tour that was the best part and had a great guide.

I was in Madrid overnight for a basic-tourist trip, and this hostel fit my needs well. The location is good (close to a metro stop, and close to Atocha and El Prado), the staff was helpful, and the room was clean, although a little small. Breakfast was nice but basic (toast, cornflakes, milk, coffee).

I was staying at this hostal with a friend. My friend was a bit ill, and the lovely guy at reception gave us a smaller room than we had originally booked. To get into the building you must have an electronic chip which has been fashioned into a watch. This "watch" will also get you into your room, and open one of the lockers in the room. The rooms are pretty standard. I was in a 2 bed room which had bunks, a bedside table, a locker each and a mirror. The room is nice enough, we were just unlucky

I spent a great time there, catching up with interesting people in a really comfortable environment. Only one thing: Internet access is available only in the lounge and the reception room. I desired to check my email relaxing quietly in my bed and it wasn't possible.
