The only thing I didn't like is that you had to continually push the button when showering. Other than that it was perfect ;)
There were too many people. So crowded and noisy. Besides these, all is good.
Tere is no enough toilets. In additional, the kettle is locked all day at the closet and you need to ask from the staff that will let you use it. It is not OK that we don't have the possibility to make tee and coffee all day. Beside this things every thing was ok. The staff are lovely and very nice, and they will help you about every thing.
Had a great time here. The atmosphere was always fun and relaxed, the staff helpful and just an overall good hostel with more then decent facilities (besides the touchy showers at times). Also located in a real central area with both plenty of sights and a metro both within walking distance along with plenty of pubs and clubs for those looking for a fun night out. Only real downside was the lack of actual cutlery, bowls, and plates that we instead supplied in plastic form....
I had a great time here and was in perfect location and the mad cat pub crawls and tapas evening that was organised was great too we met so meny new people and the place had great facilaties and was very clean !

Very average hostel. Staff were not helpful and seemed uninterested. We arrived from a gruelling night bus at 7am and were told we couldn't check in until 2pm - ended up sleeping in the hallway!
The kitchen need more facilities to cover the needs ( Dishes, spoons forks, knives bowls and cups), the hostel depend on the disposable plastic equipment instead of the normal glass ot plastics one . I thing that the electronic locks of the doors should be changed in some rooms. The deposit of the key and the sheets is very high comparing to other hostels.
The hostel needs to be clener, specially in the bathrooms and showers area. Great place for the money you pay.
Nice hostel with good large lockers, the female dorm had it's own bathroom. I enjoyed the activities provided by MadCity by the twins! The walking our, pub crawl and tapas trip were great ways to et to know Madrid and fellow guests!
Great deal for the money. The breakfast was basic but great. I liked the watch/key feature, it was pretty cool. Great location, not far from train station and minutes away from major places.
The location is very good, but for the same reason it could be noisy during the weekend.
Totally recommendable! :) Good atmosphere, also perfect if you travel alone (they organize Sangría evenings, Paella evenings, and they offer pub crawls, free walking tours, Salsa or Spanish courses...), staff is also really nice, helpful and well informed about everything :) What I didn't like is that they use plates and cutlery of plasic/paper for breakfast, which is not really eco-friendly, and also, it's in a party area, so that it's quite loud at night..
Staff is less than ideal. The woman working reception acted as if we were bothering her with questions at check-in and attempts to get towels. The next morning we were scolded by the cleaning man for not realizing that we weren't supposed to use the stairs as he mopped them exactly during breakfast time. And the morning after that, he entered our room around 10:30, saw all of us still in bed, and instead of leaving, came in and tried to chat with us as he did minor tasks that could have waited.
Awesome place to meet people as Something is always going On. Very cheap and offers everything you generally need from a low budget hostel. Would recommend.
Really good stay, definitely recommend to anyone. Few more bathrooms would be nice, but not a huge problem

Has yours, crawls and other activities to meet other people. Older building too. Breakfast is awful, bland cereal. Has computers though. Good atmosphere. Rooms are kind of small but sufficient.
It´s really well located, has a nice breakfast and free sangrias everynight during one hour. But the bathrooms aren´t so nice, there´s no enough space to put your things and not enough privacy, also the toilets are really small and there´s no toilet on the ground floor (and the bar is there). The security lock (kind of a watch) they give us sometimes doesn´t work that well (or is complicated to manage). It should cost less for what they offer.
Clean and good location. Pleasant staff. Rooms were good size. The showers were push button to make the water run but only lasted 45seconds so had to constantly push it over and over while showering. No wifi in the rooms, wifi the common area/kitchen downstairs which closed at 11pm. They have a largish courtyard next to the kitchen, the kitchen/common area was small. Not many kitchen utensils and only one small chopping knife. They use paper plates/bowls, plastic knifes/forks. Good for price.
Great location in the middle of Huertas- great for Santa Ana and surrounding.
My favorite hostel so far in my cross Europe trip. Located on calle huertas, near everything you will need and want to see in Madrid.
