Overall I was pretty disappointed in the hostel. I was especially annoyed that when I got there I had to pay an extra 15 euro fee. Even though it was refunded at the end of my trip, it would have been nice to have known about it before booking it. I also was really disappointed with the staff. One guy consistently gave me the wrong directions, and one of the girls who worked at night was really difficult to understand in Spanish AND English.

Great place. My only suggestion would be to somehow extend the wifi to the kitchen area. Not enough room in the reception for everyone with their computers trying to check their email.

Excellent hostel to go if you're under 30 and want a "madrid at night." It's very juvenile. The hostel is very well located (best is impossible). Good breakfast, always clean. It is also very safe. Would go. It is advisable. The price is reasonable.

Pro: Lockers, Downtown, breakfast included in price, hair dryers in showers, clean bathrooms, & rooms (excluding blanket), pub crawl, wifi everywhere, helpful staff, tv in lobby, kitchen, some rooms have a balcony Con: Smelly covers not sheets (they need to be washed), not a lot of privacy in the bathrooms because they don't have changing stalls, some bedside lamps need to get fixed. So the hostel has some technical errors that need to be fixed e.g. lamps or lockers running out of batteries.

Very nice hostel, excellent value for money! With all the facilities, kitchen, computer with internet, breakfast included (basic). Very good location close to Puerta del Sol. They also make activities in the evening perfect to meet people. The rooms can be a little cold. I recommend it.

Location is the better reason to stay at that hostel. I didn't have to take the subway to go to Passeo Del Prado, Puerta del Sol, Plaza Mayor and all the nice places in Madrid. They have excelent services, like telephone, free wi-fi and computers, laundry and free walking tour. The only bad thing was the bed that was not very confortable.

Sometimes there was water on the toilet's floor, there were weird people (other than travellers) in the rooms, wifi was only available at the reception. Cool free walking tour though.

I chose this hostel because I was travelling alone and the reviews and hostelworld recommended it for meeting people and it praised the 'social vibe' it had. I am very pleased with my stay, the place was spotless clean, well equipped and in a fab location but it lacked big time the party atmosphere I was hoping to find. Other than that, great stay!

One of the nicest hostels I've stayed in, ever. Great central location, helpful staff, extremely clean, charming comfortable rooms. Breakfast was a little lackluster (cereal or toast), but enough to get you going. The hostel also has TONS or events for its guests—nightly pub crawls, tapas tours, walking tours of the city, etc., which are great, especially if you're traveling alone like I was.

it's really convenient and well service. but the wall is really thin that you can hear everything outside the room, but if you have earplugs, i think it doesn't matter:)

Enjoyed the central location & free breakfast. Lockers are fairly large and could probably fit your whole bag if you don't feel comfortable leaving it in the luggage room. Booked through hostelworld and everything went smoothly.

Great place and really nice staff, lots of PC to use and the place is clean and looks more like a hotel. Stayed in the cheapest option which is comfy still but just 1 toilet for all but still good place.

The place could use a renovation, but the biggest issue was some people came into our room while we were out and throw up and passed out in our beds, so when we returned we had to change rooms.
