Best place to stay in Samaipata - the innkeepers are wonderful and food even better!
Free refill in the morning would be nice, specially because the hostel is owned by someone from the states....refilllllll ;-)
Great B&B style place up on a hill with awesome views. Service is amazing, the food offered is delicious and affordable. The owners are both very nice and down to earth. Wifi is slow but I expected that given Samaipata's remote location. It helps you disconnect and relax better imho. Thanks guys for a great stay!
This is absolutely the best place I stayed during my 2 month stay in Bolivia. Nothing was too much to ask the wonderful owners of this gorgeous little boutique type hotel set in glorious gardens and with stunning views of the nearby mountains on the outskirts of Samaipata. The staff were very friendly and the food in the restaurant excellent and very reasonably priced. I cannot praise this little gem enough and if you are looking for good food, excellent value and a relaxing break this is
We spent 5 nights at La Posada Del Sol, and it was the best service we have had during our 3 month trip of South America. The owners and staff were really helpful and friendly and we were always greeted with smiles. The hotel is really well laid out with most of the rooms in the private back garden with a view of the surrounding mountains. The restaurant attached to the hotel was also very good value for money with great meals.
Amazing place in the most beautiful setting. Their restaurant is probably the best value in town (a few more vegetarian options would be welcome though), happy hour is fantastic to meet other guests (and the cocktails are very good too), and the staff will make you feel like at home. You won't want to leave.
The room we stayed at during the first two nights of our stay was very nice: it included a bathroom, drinking water and a bed-net, and faced a lovely inner courtyard. For the next two nights we were moved to a different room, which was considerably smaller, louder (it was next to the kitchen), and did not have a bathroom. We really enjoyed the food at the adjoined restaurant, esp. the Luna Verde salad. It was also a real pleasure to meet the friendly and helpful owners of the hostel.
