It was like a home away from home , I especially liked the staff , they were so friendly . Having a restaurant attached was also a big plus for a single woman who did not want to be walking around at night . The laundry service was good , great rooms , very comfortable beds . I returned twice after tours .

A little pricier but the staff are fantastic, the food is good and it's a great place to hang out or go out on some tours. Very knowledgable front desk staff and everyone is so friendly and willing to give you help and advice. If you are a backpacker... Splurge a little and enjoy what la posada del sol has to offer! Thank you guys so much for all your help !

recommendable place with great garden and a nice view as well as an inexpensive restaurant. Concerning our 8 weeks trip probably one of the most relaxing locations we stayed at.

The owner was unable to pick us up and our bus from Sucre arrived 1 hour early (4am) so there were no taxis. The directions dont explain that it's 3 blocks up and on a street to the left. Was difficult to find in the dark. We were able to sleep on a couch at reception til our room was ready but given the buses arrive around 5am would be good if they have an early check in or half day rate as it's impossible to sleep on that bus ride and waiting 5+ hours for a room is torture! Great food.

Fantastic place to stay! We stayed for a week. Very clean, spacious rooms, serviced daily, really comfortable beds, free water in the rooms, good hot water. Really nice sunny grassy garden to relax in, and a great restaurant with very reasonably priced food. Staff were really helpful and friendly. We had the odd small millipede in our room, but not really a problem when the room is serviced daily. The wi-fi was a bit sketchy, as it is everywhere in the town (even the internet cafe).
