Great stay here. Went with my mom and dad who were visiting me in Bolivia. Great food and helpful serve the whole trip. For the price you aren't going to find better rooms or service. I will be back to Samaipata and stay here if they have rooms open.

Lovely, friendly place to stay in Samaipata. The restaurant at the property is really good - fantastic food especially the menu of the day is very good value for money. There is also a bar there which is good for talking to and meeting people.

What a lovely place to stay. Pack your things and leave Santa Cruz for this fantastic hotel in a nice little village near ruins, che trail etc. Food was excellent and very cheap.

One of the nicest places we have been, anywhere. The owners are very friendly and helpful with booking tours. Rooms are spacious and luxurious especially on a backpacker's budget, definitely hotel quality. Delicious and inexpensive restaurant. (Try the specials!) We originally booked for two nights, but stayed four because we liked it so much. It felt like a splurge without actually being one.

We arrived at 6am and they offered us another room (not the one we booked). Here the toilet was not working (Room number 8) so we had to use the staffs toilet for a night. Next day we got an upgrade. Despite this the second room was very nice. At checkout we had to pay a half day extra for the early checkin plus the upgrade. We were not informed about this before. The food was good (breakfast and lunch/dinner) and Mr. Trent was very helpfull.

We upgraded you to a room with a private bath at no extra xcharge. You arrived at 5:00 am on the day you reserved and we chareged a half day extra for early checkin which you accepted. This is normal procedure in a hotel. (This is why the upgrade...the people in your room had yet to check out and you wanted a room immediately although you had not reserved for that time slot.) You complained about the bathroom which we found to be working and has been working fine without repair since....but you insisted so we upgraded you again for an extra 10 bolivianos a day (about $1.50 US) for one of our best rooms. You did not complain during your stay or at checkout or we would have made an adjustment. You told us everything was great. We recommend to any travelers reading this that if you have a problem, you discuss it weith management and give them a chance to resolve them before you complain for all the world to see on the net. This would seem more fair. Thank you for the kind comments.
