La Posada del Virrey Reviews

There are odd construction materials everywhere, exposed electrical wires and a huge piece of plastic was draped in front of my room. The shared bathroom had no mirror, rarely toilet paper and I didn`t use the shower as it had just been mopped with very strong chlorine bleach. It looks like it needs a good handyman to fix things and clean up all the odd stuff lying around. There is a nice place on top to sit.

Room was clean and blankets were nice and warm. the staff were very helpful, location is close to main square and nightlife. central courtyard was nice when the sun was shinning.

Love it!! It's a very good hostel! The satff is the best, specualy el joven Diego! I recomend stay there if you go to arequipa!

Nice hostel, good location and price.

I stayed there for two days. One day before Colca canyon trek and one day after. The staff was excellent, they helped me book a bus ticket and a realy cheap and good trek with www.peruschweiz.com.pe. I had a good sleep there aswell and it´s close to the center. Always ask the staff for help in this hostel becouse they are so helping.
