Very nice and pleasant hostel. Cosy atmosphere and a nice character. Staff is very very nice and helps out with anything. Definitively a good place if you do not mind a short walk to the town.

Although a little out of town, the superb staff and facilities more than make up for this. Lucas and Flo were very helpful and friendly. The hostel is comfortable and quiet. I would recommend this hostel for people who like friendly places with a chilled and laid back atmosphere, who want to meet lots of other travellers in relaxing surroundings and who do not always want to party.

Clean with great staff who were very helpful (most spoke great English too). We stayed in a double room and it had it^s own safe which was very convenient. It´s a bit of a trek into town for food (about 20-30 minutes each way).

Excellent Hostel and the Staff couldn't have been more helpful! The private rooms were big with big beds and it's one of the hottest showers I've ever had in South America! Definitely recommend this hostel.

The staff at La Posta were very warm and very helpful. Also the rooms, kitchens and common areas were really clean and comfortable. I really loved the garden and the homey feeling of the hostel. The one drawback is that it is about a 25 minute walk to town, but the pro to that is that the neighborhood is quiet and you can get good sleep. It is also very close to the airport.

We were very lucky to stay in this hostel in Ushuaia. The staff is amazing...respectful, polite, and awesomely helpful (thanks Flo, Stephany, everyone). Whenever we visit Ushuaia again, this will be the place to stay!

Nice place, bit far out of town but walkable and many cheap taxis if raining. dorm room was spacious with individual lockers. kitchens are well stocked. lucus and flo were lovely and very helpful. there is a washing machine for use which is very convenient. bathrooms were disappointing (not always clean and only shower curtains, nowhere private to change) but overall a great hostel. Recommended.

Lovely people will welcome you and feel like home. A day at leisure here has so many nice aspects to enjoy a peaceful day of your holiday, when you need to restore after a long walk in Ushuaia. Lucas and Flo always smiling and proactive to help you out, support or just give you any unrequested and highly appreciated advice. The location out of the town can be considered an additional value if you want to stay out of the crowd and noisy main street. Highly recommended!

Please put toilet paper in every stall! It was really annoying that it was just on the wall.

The staff in the hostel were knowledgeable and caring. Hostel attracts more the 30-45 year olds, which makes it a quieter place at night than other hostels in town.

The staff were very hospitable and gave good recommendations for daytime activities. The hostel is located out of town (20 minute brisk walk), but this allowed a better atmosphere and experience away from the hustle of the touristy downtown area. I enjoyed the exercise walking into town, but the cabs were only 15-20 pesos if you'd prefer to get a ride.

Great staff, very good atmosphere. Hard walk from the bus to the hostel with my backpack, too far from the city center. Well, we're talking about Ushuaia. Really nice backyard with an excellent wood burning stove (apparently, I didn't use it) and not bad views. I missed more plugs at the dorm -there are some, but just in one part of the room, and they were always busy. Showers are far from the room. Kitchens (two) are huge. Soap for laundry is 5 pesos.

I think this is the nearest hostel from the airport, which means that is may be the furthest from the downtown. It took me almost 40 minutes to walk to downtown main street, so if you do not like walking, it could be a problem. However, other than that the hostel is great, very comfortable with every necessary facilities and warm staffs. The shower rooms are clean but they are a bit too small (and, although minor, there is no place to put dry clothes on!).

This is a great hostel. Very nice and clean rooms. The staff are amazing. Flora, Miriam and Lucas are so friendly and provide great information on local tours and activities. I stayed here before my trip to Antarctica and when I got back, I checked in for another night. I would definitely stay here again if I come back to Ushuaia.

Very nice hostel, very friendly staff . Location was good Rooms were not great but they were clean. Kitchen was big. Staff were very helpful with any questions about treking in the National Park and arranged transfers to and from the park.

Thanks Lucas for helping us plan our visit to town and the park ! This is a very cozy hostel with friendly sfaff, we enjoyed our time here, and would recommend to anyone traveling to Ushuaia. It´s a little out of town, but at the same time it´s a nice walk in, if your looking for a party hostel this is not it, but it´s laid back and cozy.

What I'd highlight about La Posta is the staff: they are very friendly and helping if any question, problem arises or you need only some info. The location is not the Downtown, but an easy walk of 30 minutes or ~17ARS by taxi; so this definitely isn't a problem, plus walking on San Martín may become boring after some time. :) The hostel has a good atmosphere and welcomes many visitors, the services and facilities are excellent too.

One of the loveliest Hostels I have stayed in. This is a very relaxed Hostel very close to the airport, but about a 30 minute walk to the center. I like the quietness but the fact that you could also meet lots of other travellers there, it just never felt crowded. The Staff were what really made this Hostel great though, Flor and Lucas were absolutely delightful!
